Episode 135: Breaking down Week 8 in College Football and looking ahead

What a great week of College Football! We break down all of the top matchups and moments from the week that was.

We then turn our attention to the upcoming week, we pick the winners for the top matchups and make some upset picks.

[00:00:28] Welcome back everybody to the latest episode of In The Flat Podcast. I'm your host Tony Kill, joined as always by Jordan and Jess.

[00:00:34] And we have some good games to cover for you this week. I think we have some, I would say, some surprising games, some games that went down to the wire, some teams that we still can't believe are undefeated, but they are.

[00:00:45] Then we have some good previews for upcoming Week 9 slate of games here in College Football. So let's run it back here to this past week first and go for some of the bigger contests of the week.

[00:00:58] Starting off first, we start with the Big 12 first. So BYU had a come from behind victory and beat Oklahoma State 38-35.

[00:01:06] I think it was on the, I would say one of the last plays of the game was like 15 seconds ago, if I recall correctly.

[00:01:12] And they were able to get the go-ahead touchdown and win this game.

[00:01:16] At the same time, Iowa State also came from behind and beat UCF 38-35, which is interesting. Same score, Big 12 stays undefeated.

[00:01:28] So let's open it up with these Big 12 teams. First question is, which Big 12 team do you think is going to win?

[00:01:36] BYU or Iowa State? And what do you think of these performances? We'll start over you, Jess.

[00:01:40] I mean, BYU has looked great so far this year.

[00:01:53] I mean, honestly, I think they might be my, like, I didn't see this coming.

[00:02:00] I forget if you have what you guys thought of BYU before the year. I did not expect them to win right now.

[00:02:07] I thought they'd be like these. Nothing like this, though. Yeah.

[00:02:08] They were like, they're currently ranked one in the AP Top 25. Do you guys have that pulled up right now?

[00:02:13] 11. Jesus, 11. Like, they are firmly in the playoffs right now.

[00:02:21] I mean, they had this close game against Oklahoma State. They came back, won it. Crazy ending.

[00:02:29] I mean, Oklahoma State finally decided to give the ball to Ollie Gordon and he had a good game. Wow.

[00:02:36] But BYU, I guess I would take BYU.

[00:02:41] All right. Jordan, how about you? Which one do you, which one do you more impressed with? Iowa State or BYU?

[00:02:45] I think I'm more impressed with the BYU. Just the wins they've had. They've really controlled games that, you know, Arizona just loves Arizona.

[00:02:56] And they blew them out. They blew out Kansas State.

[00:03:02] And they've played like they've played better teams. I feel like Arizona, Iowa State has played Iowa.

[00:03:08] And that's really it. And the biggest thing for me is Iowa State does still play Kansas State at the end of season.

[00:03:15] And I think that's going to be a tough game.

[00:03:19] So BYU right now controls its own destiny, controls just who they play.

[00:03:25] You know, like you say, they play whoever is in front of them.

[00:03:30] But they've beaten teams close, blown them out.

[00:03:34] SMU, they won by three.

[00:03:36] They won against Kansas State 38 to nine.

[00:03:39] And that was an all around showing of how, you know, dynamic BYU is.

[00:03:46] In all offense, defense, special teams.

[00:03:49] So it doesn't surprise me that BYU, it surprises me that BYU is where they are.

[00:03:55] But they're probably one of the most all around good teams that can do it all.

[00:04:03] And so I just think Iowa State is going to lose that Kansas State game just because I don't believe in Iowa State enough.

[00:04:14] Unless you're Tony. Tony loves Iowa State and Indiana.

[00:04:17] Two teams.

[00:04:18] Listen, I love Iowa State whenever they end up going bad.

[00:04:21] So I'm not going to say anything good about Iowa State this year.

[00:04:24] They're going to be terrible and maybe they'll have a good run.

[00:04:28] I will agree with you though.

[00:04:29] I think Iowa State, their schedule is a little more daunting.

[00:04:32] They have Texas Tech coming up on the second, which Texas Tech isn't playing pretty well.

[00:04:38] They have Utah, which you don't know what version of Utah you're ever going to get, but it's at Utah.

[00:04:42] So that's going to be a tough game.

[00:04:44] And then you have Kansas State in the season.

[00:04:46] So they, I mean, they have to win all three.

[00:04:48] I just don't know if that will happen.

[00:04:50] I can see them losing one or two of those games for sure.

[00:04:53] As far as BYU goes, I mean, their schedule, you know, they have Central Florida, which we'll talk about later,

[00:05:00] is it an upset special game or not?

[00:05:03] They have Utah on the ninth at Utah.

[00:05:06] Again, you just don't know what kind of game you're going to get with that Utah team.

[00:05:09] They fired their offensive coordinator now over the weekend, Utah did.

[00:05:14] And so are they going to change anything on the offensive side?

[00:05:16] Will they be able to get things going with the young quarterback with Cam rising out?

[00:05:20] You don't know.

[00:05:21] And then they go Kansas, Arizona State, Houston.

[00:05:24] I just, I could see BYU winning out here.

[00:05:26] I mean, the one I, the two games, Central Florida, Utah back to back, if they get through these two games,

[00:05:32] I mean, I'm pretty sure they can go undefeated the rest of the way and make it a playoff.

[00:05:35] So kudos to them for having a good, you know, good year in the Big 12 with Oklahoma and Nebraska and Texas not being there.

[00:05:44] All right.

[00:05:45] Let's keep it ahead here.

[00:05:46] Let's go to, you know, obviously the game of the week, college game maybe was there.

[00:05:49] That's Georgia, Texas.

[00:05:52] Georgia dominated this game for a big chunk of it, 23-0 in the halftime, if I recall correctly.

[00:05:58] And really, I mean, that defensive line was in the backfield of Texas all night.

[00:06:04] Texas couldn't get everything going.

[00:06:06] They benched Ewers.

[00:06:07] They put in Manny.

[00:06:09] They went back to Ewers.

[00:06:10] They needed some referee shenanigans to get some points.

[00:06:14] And they still lost 30-15 with all that.

[00:06:18] So, you know, I think I want to say I was the only one that picked Georgia last week.

[00:06:24] I can finally say I picked a game that went the right way.

[00:06:27] So I'm going to call that out as much as I can here.

[00:06:31] But I had to because Georgia is my national championship game pick.

[00:06:33] So that looks good today.

[00:06:34] I don't know if it's going to look good next week, but it looks good today.

[00:06:37] So, Jordan, what did you think of Georgia's win over Texas?

[00:06:42] Their defense, you know, finally showed up the whole game.

[00:06:47] They kind of carried this game.

[00:06:50] Carson Beck looked bad.

[00:06:53] Three interceptions.

[00:06:54] And he's lucky that their defense, and no touchdowns.

[00:06:59] So that's great.

[00:07:01] But he's lucky that their defense stepped up.

[00:07:04] I think Texas scored one touchdown in the, with, after an interception.

[00:07:12] And it was later in the game.

[00:07:13] The first two, the defense, you know, came clutch.

[00:07:18] They had the punt, and then they had the fumble, which led to a Georgia touchdown.

[00:07:25] So, huge.

[00:07:26] I'm thinking, I think Georgia had seven sacks, ten tackles for loss.

[00:07:30] Their defensive line played really, really well.

[00:07:34] Texas just looked kind of a, I don't know, a mess on offense.

[00:07:39] They couldn't get anything going.

[00:07:41] And when they did, I think I messaged you guys that one play where they went for it on third and five,

[00:07:49] and they ran it and just got stopped.

[00:07:51] And then they went out for it on fourth and five, when they should have just went for a field goal to get points on the board.

[00:07:58] I think right there is when the game kind of just went away.

[00:08:01] It was, Georgia was winning this game no matter what.

[00:08:05] So, I just think the play calls were kind of just not there for Texas.

[00:08:11] And I think Georgia's defense finally showed up.

[00:08:14] Defensive line, one of the best in the country, and it showed right there.

[00:08:19] So, big win for Georgia.

[00:08:21] Definitely needed to continue going.

[00:08:23] Not a horrible loss for Texas going down the stretch because it is Georgia.

[00:08:29] They're ranked, you know, in the top five.

[00:08:32] So, not anything bad for either.

[00:08:37] Good for Georgia.

[00:08:38] Not horrible for Texas.

[00:08:41] The score definitely shows that it was a lot, you know, it wasn't as close as the score shows.

[00:08:47] But just an all-around great game.

[00:08:51] Just not by Texas' offensive line.

[00:08:54] Jess, what did you think?

[00:08:56] I actually, I don't disagree with most of what Jordan said there,

[00:08:59] but I do disagree with something he said at the end that it wasn't as close as the game,

[00:09:05] as the score made it look.

[00:09:07] Jordan is a thousand percent correct with it.

[00:09:11] Georgia won this game in the trenches.

[00:09:14] They completely dominated Texas' offensive line, which up until this point,

[00:09:19] even against, you know, like say what you will about Michigan and their offense,

[00:09:23] but there's one thing they've got, it's a good defensive line.

[00:09:26] Texas was able to completely manhandle them.

[00:09:29] Georgia did not let them push them around in the line of scrimmage.

[00:09:33] However, Georgia's offense, you know, even outside of Carson Becksworth, they were just, they weren't good.

[00:09:40] Texas' defense did everything they could.

[00:09:45] Georgia got, I think it was like, they had, I think, six scoring drives or something like that.

[00:09:53] All but one of them were under like 34 yards of offense.

[00:10:00] Like it was crazy.

[00:10:01] They just had insane field position because of the defense.

[00:10:05] There was one drive where I think Georgia took over at Texas' 28 yard line and only got a field goal out of it.

[00:10:13] Texas' defense came to play.

[00:10:16] It wasn't like this was some complete game.

[00:10:20] This wasn't Georgia versus Clemson.

[00:10:23] This was not that.

[00:10:25] Georgia's offense had 64 yards, got like I think 24 of their points on 64 total yards.

[00:10:33] And their one scoring drive that they had that went beyond, that was more than 35 yards of offense, was like 60 yards of offense.

[00:10:44] But about 40 of it came on a trick play that they had.

[00:10:48] So again, it's not like Georgia just completely dominated this game, you know, in every way.

[00:10:56] And Texas just was completely under, unprepared.

[00:11:00] It was that Georgia, it was a bit more used to being in these kinds of games.

[00:11:05] I mean, they beat everybody that's not named Alabama, apparently.

[00:11:11] Texas was their offensive line struggled, but Texas' defense came to play.

[00:11:16] So I think if they meet again, I don't know if I'm, you know, I'm pretty confident in Texas' ability.

[00:11:24] But I think it'll be a very interesting game if these two meet again for the SEC title or in the playoffs or something.

[00:11:32] I think we're going to get the best out of both those teams if that happens.

[00:11:36] I don't think Texas is making it to the SEC championship, but that's just my own.

[00:11:41] You think it'll be Tennessee or something?

[00:11:44] Like who does?

[00:11:45] You think it'll be, what's the rest of the team in the schedule?

[00:11:50] Well, they have to play Texas at the end of the season.

[00:11:52] At the end of the season.

[00:11:53] But they need two losses not to make the SEC championship game.

[00:11:57] Well, I mean, if Texas only has one loss.

[00:11:59] No, I'm thinking of.

[00:12:00] You're wrong.

[00:12:01] Yeah, it'll be.

[00:12:03] But there's a lot of teams right now.

[00:12:05] Like Mizzou has one loss.

[00:12:07] Tennessee has one loss.

[00:12:08] Georgia has one loss.

[00:12:09] And the only teams that are undefeated are LSU and Texas A&M.

[00:12:12] And they play this game.

[00:12:14] Yeah, and they play.

[00:12:15] But then Texas, I mean, if Texas only has one loss moving forward and they meet A&M at the end of the year.

[00:12:21] I think A&M is going to beat Texas is what I'm saying, I guess.

[00:12:24] You think Texas A&M would beat Texas?

[00:12:27] I mean, I think Texas A&M has a better defensive line than Georgia.

[00:12:31] They probably have the best defensive line.

[00:12:34] Yeah, but do they have a good enough offensive line?

[00:12:40] Like, I think I don't know if.

[00:12:44] I mean, I still have faith that Texas is going to be.

[00:12:50] I think that offensive line, this was a wake up call for them, which is why I think it would be interesting if they play again.

[00:12:58] Like they Texas hasn't gotten punched in the mouth like that in in a while.

[00:13:05] Like even that game last year where they were stunned by Oklahoma, you know, that was still a high scoring, high flying down to the wire game.

[00:13:16] I think it'll be very interesting to see this week.

[00:13:19] I think it is.

[00:13:21] I think it is.

[00:13:21] Texas plays Vanderbilt.

[00:13:22] No, next week.

[00:13:23] No, they haven't gotten by this week.

[00:13:25] No, it's this week.

[00:13:25] I think it'll be very interesting to see how Texas.

[00:13:28] It's this weekend.

[00:13:29] Oh, it is this week.

[00:13:30] Sorry, I'm lost.

[00:13:31] Yeah, it's this weekend.

[00:13:32] I think it'll be very interesting to see how Texas responds.

[00:13:35] The biggest thing for me is if they go to Vandy and beat them though.

[00:13:39] So if you're not right, if if Texas and Texas A&M go into it, and this is the game that Texas needs to win to get in the SEC championship.

[00:13:50] I it's at Texas A&M.

[00:13:52] Mm hmm.

[00:13:53] I crowds.

[00:13:54] That's going to be.

[00:13:55] The blood will be in the water.

[00:13:58] Literally, that will be the loudest stadium ever.

[00:14:01] Oh my God.

[00:14:02] That that'll be if Texas A&M actually has a chance to go to the SEC championship game, which they've always dreamt of.

[00:14:09] Mm hmm.

[00:14:10] And to go to this and then you're going to if you win this, you go to the SEC championship where you can get a bye or you're you're making the playoffs.

[00:14:18] It is going to be the best game we we've ever seen.

[00:14:22] That I especially with hasn't like one is this going to be the first time in a number of years at Texas A&M.

[00:14:30] Yeah, they haven't played because they had because the Texas A&M went to the SEC.

[00:14:34] 12 thing.

[00:14:35] Yeah, and it'll be it might be a night game because it could be 330 or 430, but it's going to it could be pushed to six or eight.

[00:14:42] Yeah.

[00:14:42] Oh, there.

[00:14:42] If that's the state, they're pushing that game data.

[00:14:46] Oh, my God.

[00:14:48] That is that's going to have what's McCoy.

[00:14:52] That's going to have game day.

[00:14:54] That's going to have all of the.

[00:14:57] Oh, my God, that I think we'll know for sure what it we're going to see for sure this week this weekend.

[00:15:04] If LSU beats Texas A&M.

[00:15:06] If this game is at Texas A&M as well, we'll talk about a little later.

[00:15:10] All right.

[00:15:11] Let's move ahead here.

[00:15:12] Let's get to the what's we can say in SEC.

[00:15:15] Let's talk about Tennessee over Alabama.

[00:15:17] I'm going to be honest.

[00:15:18] I watched this game off and on.

[00:15:21] This game bored me.

[00:15:22] This is ugly slog fest of a game.

[00:15:26] I don't know what I expected of this game, but the defense offenses are functional to me.

[00:15:32] They both have spots where they've done really well, depending on who the opponent was.

[00:15:36] But like when they play decent defenses, they just don't seem to have a never gear to get going.

[00:15:42] And I think these quarterbacks are I just Joe Moroze is this.

[00:15:45] He's just not a quarterback.

[00:15:48] And Niko is just a young kid, so he needs some more time.

[00:15:52] But I mean, I guess I'm impressed with Tennessee, but I'm not really impressed with either one of these, I guess is what I'm saying.

[00:15:57] I mean, it's just ugly.

[00:15:59] I can see out of them getting a never loss or two before the end of this season is over.

[00:16:04] And Tennessee, somebody is going to beat them here relatively soon, in my opinion,

[00:16:10] as long as someone that has that offensive ability.

[00:16:13] So, Jess, what did you think of this one?

[00:16:17] Like you said, it was an ugly affair.

[00:16:20] Fourth quarter, though, things picked up, some big plays, some exciting moments.

[00:16:25] But I was both disappointed and impressed with Niko throughout the game.

[00:16:33] He looks young, he looks raw, but then there are just those throws where you're like,

[00:16:38] that right there, that is why he was this five-star, second in his class level recruit.

[00:16:49] I mean, it was, I think it was towards the end, I think it might have been that final touchdown,

[00:16:53] where he layered that throw beautifully up the sideline, just red basket perfectly out of reach of the defender.

[00:17:05] And it's like, that was, that was a beautiful throw.

[00:17:10] But, like you said, like, when Tennessee plays against these good defenses,

[00:17:18] and they're going to be going to Georgia later in the year.

[00:17:22] That Kentucky one is not one, I mean, Kentucky has played.

[00:17:25] Yeah, this Kentucky game isn't a gimme.

[00:17:28] Kentucky has shown that they play some tough defense.

[00:17:29] They have terrible offense, but their defense is good, which means it could be in every game,

[00:17:32] just like this, like the Arkansas game was that they lost.

[00:17:36] Like, it's, there, I could definitely see this Tennessee-Kentucky game being a 21 to 14, 21-10 kind of affair,

[00:17:46] but even then it doesn't feel like, like, it'll be a lot, it'll feel a lot closer than maybe the score suggests by the end of the game.

[00:17:55] Because of, you know, Tennessee's offensive struggles.

[00:17:59] But overall, I think, I think Alabama, if they were to make it, like, which of these two teams do I think would do better in the playoffs?

[00:18:09] I think it would be Alabama.

[00:18:12] I just think they have more talent overall.

[00:18:15] And, I mean, we've seen Jalen Milrow in these big games, these big spots.

[00:18:21] And, you know, he's going to have these multi-interception games it feels like, but he's also...

[00:18:26] He's just very high or low.

[00:18:27] You're not quite sure what you're going to get.

[00:18:29] He could win you, like, the biggest of the ball games, but lose you some of the smallest of the ball games.

[00:18:33] What he did against Georgia.

[00:18:34] I mean, that's what makes the...

[00:18:36] I mean, that's part of the beauty of college football, isn't it?

[00:18:39] Yeah.

[00:18:40] Like, one week, these guys are like, oh my god, this is a slogfest.

[00:18:46] And then the next week, it's like, you get Alabama, Georgia.

[00:18:50] And then one week, it's Alabama, Georgia.

[00:18:52] Next week, it's Alabama, Tennessee.

[00:18:54] But neither of these teams truly have blown me out of the water all year.

[00:18:58] But, I mean, good on Tennessee.

[00:19:03] Right.

[00:19:05] Jordan, any closing thoughts here on Tennessee, Alabama?

[00:19:07] Yeah.

[00:19:08] It's...

[00:19:09] This is the Alabama team that...

[00:19:10] It's the most undisciplined Alabama team I think I've ever seen.

[00:19:16] They've had 15 penalties this game.

[00:19:19] Tennessee was...

[00:19:20] Had 11.

[00:19:22] But, just go through the first...

[00:19:25] This is the first half play.

[00:19:27] Like, play-by-play.

[00:19:29] Punt.

[00:19:30] Alabama punt.

[00:19:31] Tennessee fumble.

[00:19:32] Alabama punt.

[00:19:33] Tennessee punt.

[00:19:34] Alabama interception.

[00:19:35] Tennessee missed field goal.

[00:19:36] Alabama touchdown.

[00:19:38] Tennessee interception.

[00:19:39] Alabama punt.

[00:19:40] Tennessee interception.

[00:19:42] Alabama punt.

[00:19:43] Missed field goal.

[00:19:44] Missed field goal.

[00:19:45] And the path.

[00:19:48] I was...

[00:19:49] I remember that.

[00:19:50] It was just a slog.

[00:19:51] Like, they just couldn't do anything.

[00:19:53] I...

[00:19:54] It's to me...

[00:19:56] It's...

[00:19:56] When you can't run the ball...

[00:19:59] Exactly.

[00:20:00] Like we talked about last week.

[00:20:02] Yeah.

[00:20:02] Tennessee won this game...

[00:20:04] I think...

[00:20:04] All because they had 220 rushing yards...

[00:20:07] Instead of 75.

[00:20:08] I really like Samson for them...

[00:20:09] The running back they have.

[00:20:10] I think he's good.

[00:20:11] I think Alabama's really missing that.

[00:20:13] I think.

[00:20:13] Yeah.

[00:20:14] He had 139 yards...

[00:20:16] For 26 carries and 2 touchdowns.

[00:20:18] When you can't run the ball...

[00:20:20] It doesn't open the game up.

[00:20:21] When Jalen Milrow...

[00:20:24] Can't...

[00:20:25] Run a speed...

[00:20:26] Run an option...

[00:20:27] At all...

[00:20:27] Or...

[00:20:28] Whatever...

[00:20:29] They're gonna run with him...

[00:20:30] It doesn't...

[00:20:32] You can't run the ball with your other running backs.

[00:20:34] It's not gonna work when you run the ball with Jalen Milrow.

[00:20:38] Yeah.

[00:20:39] So...

[00:20:39] That right there I think is why...

[00:20:42] Tennessee won this game 24-17.

[00:20:45] Tony had it wrong in our list.

[00:20:48] Yeah.

[00:20:49] Yeah.

[00:20:50] But...

[00:20:51] I just think that Tennessee...

[00:20:52] When it came out to play...

[00:20:53] Later in the game...

[00:20:55] Better than Alabama.

[00:20:57] I just don't know if...

[00:20:59] I think it's discipline.

[00:21:00] I think this team is just...

[00:21:02] Undisciplined right now.

[00:21:05] And...

[00:21:05] They're just not...

[00:21:07] The Nick Saban Alabamas we're used to seeing where...

[00:21:10] Nick Saban's gonna yell at you...

[00:21:12] Even if we're up 45 points to zero...

[00:21:15] He's gonna get on your case for anything you do wrong.

[00:21:17] Yeah.

[00:21:18] So...

[00:21:18] I just think Alabama is not in a good place.

[00:21:21] Jalen Milrow does not look like the quarterback we thought he was gonna be all season.

[00:21:26] And...

[00:21:27] Nico's young.

[00:21:29] He shows glimpses of being a great quarterback.

[00:21:33] But he also is young and playing in probably one of the tough...

[00:21:37] Not probably...

[00:21:38] One of the toughest divisions...

[00:21:40] Or conferences in college football.

[00:21:43] And their schedule is kinda rough.

[00:21:45] So...

[00:21:46] For what he...

[00:21:47] Where he is and...

[00:21:48] How young he is...

[00:21:49] He's looking like he should.

[00:21:52] Yep.

[00:21:53] But he is growing every game.

[00:21:55] He's looking better every game.

[00:21:58] Yep.

[00:21:59] He'll have to keep getting better and better here.

[00:22:01] Especially when they go to Georgia.

[00:22:02] This will be...

[00:22:03] Yeah.

[00:22:04] Florida...

[00:22:04] Basically gets to get a playoff I feel like.

[00:22:06] Tennessee Georgia.

[00:22:08] Alright.

[00:22:09] Next up...

[00:22:09] Let's go back to ACC.

[00:22:11] Miami outlasted Louisville 52-45.

[00:22:14] Cam Ward for four touchdowns.

[00:22:16] And Miami survives another crazy ball game with a...

[00:22:20] Basically a one possession win here.

[00:22:23] That's three weeks in a row...

[00:22:25] Or three games in a row for Miami doing that.

[00:22:27] But they have made it to 7-0.

[00:22:28] 3-0 in conference.

[00:22:30] Louisville has fallen off a little bit with losing three or last four games.

[00:22:35] So...

[00:22:35] Let's take it over to you Jordan.

[00:22:37] What did you think of this Miami win over Louisville?

[00:22:40] I...

[00:22:40] I think...

[00:22:43] Miami doesn't have a defense.

[00:22:45] Their Miami offense is electric.

[00:22:48] Cam Ward is...

[00:22:49] Electric.

[00:22:51] You know...

[00:22:52] He does it all.

[00:22:54] And...

[00:22:55] I think the biggest thing that's taking them back is that defense is letting these

[00:22:59] teams score a lot.

[00:23:02] And if their offense starts slow...

[00:23:05] Which...

[00:23:05] Honestly, this game was just a shootout.

[00:23:08] I don't think at any time...

[00:23:11] It could have went either way in my eyes.

[00:23:13] Louisville could have pulled it off.

[00:23:15] Miami pulled it off.

[00:23:17] I just think the defense is lacking at Miami.

[00:23:21] And that's gonna be the biggest thing, I think.

[00:23:23] I mean...

[00:23:24] At this point, they're playing the ACC championship game.

[00:23:27] Because I don't think they're gonna lose any of their...

[00:23:29] They might lose to Duke, but...

[00:23:31] They haven't played anybody with any semblance of a defense that played...

[00:23:35] Yeah.

[00:23:36] A reeling Florida team.

[00:23:37] Florida A&M.

[00:23:38] Ball State.

[00:23:39] South Florida.

[00:23:40] Virginia Tech.

[00:23:40] California.

[00:23:41] Louisville.

[00:23:42] None of those would be considered defensive powers by any chance.

[00:23:46] And I don't know if they have anybody on this schedule.

[00:23:48] They have Florida State.

[00:23:49] Duke.

[00:23:50] Georgia Tech.

[00:23:50] Wake Forest.

[00:23:51] Syracuse.

[00:23:52] At Georgia Tech, if Haynes King is back, it could be a shootout type of game.

[00:23:58] Syracuse...

[00:23:59] It's at Syracuse might be interesting, but I don't like...

[00:24:01] Nobody scares me from a defensive perspective to stop Cam Ward, so...

[00:24:06] It's that...

[00:24:07] I think going to the ACC game.

[00:24:09] Clemson against Clemson.

[00:24:10] I think that's gonna be the real test.

[00:24:12] And I think Miami's gonna show that their offense...

[00:24:16] Playing against a real defense is not gonna be able to show.

[00:24:19] Yeah.

[00:24:21] Jess, what'd you think here in Miami?

[00:24:24] I mean, I think coming into the year, I was the one that was highest on Miami.

[00:24:27] Um, I think I was the only one that had them making the playoffs.

[00:24:32] And...

[00:24:33] While...

[00:24:33] You know, I think...

[00:24:36] You can't...

[00:24:38] Discount the fact that they are pulling these games out.

[00:24:41] They are winning...

[00:24:43] They're not winning in ways that truly bestill confidence if they were to truly play another power.

[00:24:50] I think...

[00:24:52] I think...

[00:24:54] I think it is going to come down to Miami and Clemson in the ACC championship.

[00:25:00] And I think whoever loses that...

[00:25:05] Probably doesn't make the playoff.

[00:25:09] Cause...

[00:25:10] You know, the ACC hasn't been good this year.

[00:25:13] Uh...

[00:25:14] Clemson got embarrassed by Georgia.

[00:25:17] And granted...

[00:25:18] It's Georgia.

[00:25:20] You know, like...

[00:25:21] 99% of teams are getting embarrassed by Georgia.

[00:25:25] But the fact that...

[00:25:28] You know, Miami is squeaking out these wins against teams that...

[00:25:35] Sure, maybe they're better than we'll give them credit for.

[00:25:38] But if Miami is truly the sixth best team in the country...

[00:25:42] I think that's where they're ranked in the eight people...

[00:25:44] They should not be...

[00:25:46] Coming down to the wire...

[00:25:48] Against Cal and Louisville.

[00:25:50] And needing comeback wins.

[00:25:52] And...

[00:25:53] You know, Cam Ward looks great.

[00:25:56] But...

[00:25:57] You know, his...

[00:25:58] I'm just super chill about everything, every time...

[00:26:02] Attitude.

[00:26:03] Like...

[00:26:03] I don't know.

[00:26:04] Maybe his team...

[00:26:05] Maybe they need some fire, you know, lit under them.

[00:26:09] Or...

[00:26:09] I don't know.

[00:26:10] It's just...

[00:26:11] They're getting the wins.

[00:26:13] Can't take that away from them.

[00:26:15] But it's like when...

[00:26:16] It's not quite as bad as this.

[00:26:17] But like when Oregon was pulling out wins against Toledo.

[00:26:20] Where it's like...

[00:26:21] You shouldn't be needing to pull these wins out.

[00:26:25] Idaho.

[00:26:26] Thank you, Idaho.

[00:26:29] Um...

[00:26:29] You know, you shouldn't be struggling like this.

[00:26:34] Um...

[00:26:35] It's...

[00:26:36] It's not...

[00:26:38] They should be winning...

[00:26:41] Much easily.

[00:26:42] Much more easily.

[00:26:43] But they're just not.

[00:26:45] So...

[00:26:45] They're getting the wins.

[00:26:46] They survive in advance to the next week.

[00:26:49] But...

[00:26:50] It's gonna come back to bite them.

[00:26:51] It just is.

[00:26:52] Jess, did you say it's not as bad as Oregon?

[00:26:55] I would say it's...

[00:26:57] I think...

[00:26:58] Or...

[00:26:58] I'd say...

[00:26:59] Miami barely scraping out a win against Louisville.

[00:27:04] Is not as bad as Oregon barely scraping out a win against Idaho.

[00:27:08] Yeah, but it's happened...

[00:27:09] Like when you have it three times in a row.

[00:27:12] Where you...

[00:27:12] Honestly, you should've lost against Virginia Tech.

[00:27:15] You should've lost against Cal.

[00:27:17] Yes.

[00:27:18] But...

[00:27:19] The thing...

[00:27:19] The difference is Oregon goes and plays Ohio State and wins.

[00:27:25] Yeah, and I mean...

[00:27:27] Look, you don't know for a fact that if Miami goes and plays another like...

[00:27:31] Like let's just say a team that's on the...

[00:27:33] Like if they go in and beat Clemson, is that not a good win?

[00:27:37] Like...

[00:27:38] Obviously, I'm saying this because Oregon is the better team.

[00:27:42] Like if Oregon and Miami play, I'm taking Oregon and I'm not thinking twice about it.

[00:27:49] But what I'm saying is like...

[00:27:52] Theoretically, the talent gap between Miami and Louisville.

[00:27:56] Miami and Cal.

[00:27:58] Is not as vast as the talent gap between Oregon and Idaho.

[00:28:04] Or Oregon and Boise State.

[00:28:07] You know, like...

[00:28:08] But the rest of their team is not quite up to that level.

[00:28:13] But like...

[00:28:14] So what I'm trying to say is that...

[00:28:17] Like...

[00:28:18] We...

[00:28:18] You and I in particular, Tony did...

[00:28:21] Didn't discount Oregon out early in the year.

[00:28:24] Because we're like...

[00:28:25] They're still winning.

[00:28:26] And until they lose...

[00:28:29] We're not gonna like get off of the Oregon train as it were.

[00:28:33] I think the biggest thing that scares me...

[00:28:36] I didn't want to take it quite there, Tony.

[00:28:39] But that was literally...

[00:28:40] I almost said that.

[00:28:41] I think the biggest thing that scares me...

[00:28:44] And like, I can't compare Oregon and Miami any of their games...

[00:28:48] Is...

[00:28:49] Like, games that don't matter.

[00:28:52] Like, these games, if you lose...

[00:28:54] Alright, you still have a chance to make the playoffs because you're gonna beat your Big Ten teams.

[00:28:59] But...

[00:29:00] Miami's doing this against teams that they need to beat.

[00:29:03] Mm-hmm.

[00:29:04] Oregon's going to...

[00:29:07] Michigan State winning 31-10.

[00:29:10] Beating UCLA 34-13.

[00:29:12] Beating Purdue 35-0.

[00:29:16] That...

[00:29:17] Miami's not beating the teams like Virginia Tech or Cal or...

[00:29:22] Uh...

[00:29:23] Louisville.

[00:29:23] Where they need to win these games.

[00:29:25] Because if they lose...

[00:29:26] Then they...

[00:29:27] Their chances of making their conference championship game is less.

[00:29:30] I mean, it's kind of just...

[00:29:32] Almost the inverse of what Oregon did.

[00:29:35] Oregon came out and had really close games against non-conference opponents.

[00:29:41] Miami, you know, has...

[00:29:43] Went out and they crushed Florida.

[00:29:45] They crushed Florida A&M.

[00:29:48] They crushed Ball State.

[00:29:49] They crushed South Florida.

[00:29:50] And then they start playing Virginia Tech.

[00:29:53] Barely win.

[00:29:54] Cal.

[00:29:55] Barely win.

[00:29:58] So, it's...

[00:29:59] It's one of those where...

[00:30:02] I mean, you would expect the games to be closer.

[00:30:07] You know, now that they're playing what should be...

[00:30:10] The tougher teams...

[00:30:11] You know, that are in their conference.

[00:30:14] Like...

[00:30:14] Who do you think is a better team?

[00:30:17] Louisville or Ball State?

[00:30:19] Like...

[00:30:20] You would expect the games to be closer.

[00:30:23] Now, it shouldn't be as close as it is.

[00:30:27] Like, I think we all at this point have seen that like...

[00:30:31] Cam Ward, one of the best players in the country.

[00:30:34] I think a lot of people are incredibly high on...

[00:30:38] I think it's the left tackle that Miami is.

[00:30:40] Like, Miami has more talent than a lot of these teams.

[00:30:44] But they aren't an Ohio State.

[00:30:49] Where it's like...

[00:30:50] Yeah, they spent $22 million on this roster.

[00:30:53] They aren't a Texas or an Oregon.

[00:30:57] You know, they're not one of those teams where they have like...

[00:31:00] All of the best players.

[00:31:02] You know, they don't have a defensive line like Georgia that has like...

[00:31:06] Two or three guys that are going to be going to the NFL every year.

[00:31:09] You know...

[00:31:11] So, I guess what I'm saying is...

[00:31:15] One of these games, if they keep having these close scares...

[00:31:20] They're not going to get the win.

[00:31:22] If they keep playing like this.

[00:31:24] But...

[00:31:25] They have gotten the wins.

[00:31:27] So, I'm not off the Miami train.

[00:31:29] As it were.

[00:31:30] Just like how I was with Oregon earlier in the year.

[00:31:33] When it's like...

[00:31:34] These games should absolutely not be this close.

[00:31:36] But until they lose...

[00:31:38] I'm putting my faith in the team.

[00:31:41] That's kind of where I'm at now with Miami.

[00:31:43] These should not be this close.

[00:31:45] But they keep winning.

[00:31:47] And until they don't...

[00:31:48] You know, I'm riding with Miami.

[00:31:50] I guess I wouldn't...

[00:31:51] I mean, I totally could see where you're coming from.

[00:31:54] I guess...

[00:31:54] Where I don't have as much faith is because...

[00:31:57] Honestly, I felt like they lost that game against Virginia Tech.

[00:32:00] I feel like the reps gave them that victory.

[00:32:02] I feel like the reps made some calls in that California game that gave them that victory.

[00:32:06] And then they won the Louisville game.

[00:32:08] And they held on and won that one.

[00:32:09] I'm a little concerned because I just feel like it's...

[00:32:12] After that Virginia Tech game, that should have motivated them that we gotta get our stuff together and push.

[00:32:16] I feel like Oregon did.

[00:32:18] They didn't.

[00:32:19] But I don't know if there's a team on their schedule right now that can really even affect their playoff chances.

[00:32:24] They'll run the table.

[00:32:26] I think they'll play Clemson.

[00:32:27] Win or lose, I think they'll get in the playoff.

[00:32:29] Because there's gonna be a lot of two-loss and three-loss teams vying for the playoff this year.

[00:32:34] So I think they'll have the opportunity to get in.

[00:32:37] All right, let's move ahead and talk about...

[00:32:40] Where are we at here?

[00:32:41] Some other games on the list.

[00:32:43] I'll do a quick recap of some of these games.

[00:32:45] Then you get your overall reaction.

[00:32:48] Oregon won 35-0 over Purdue.

[00:32:50] We thought like maybe this game might be a little closer because six days rest, Friday night,

[00:32:55] heading down to Purdue at night.

[00:32:57] Purdue wins these type of games.

[00:32:59] But this one was never close.

[00:33:01] Purdue, yeah, Purdue was terrible as we thought they were early in the season.

[00:33:06] So I'm not sure what happened with that Illinois game the week before.

[00:33:08] But yeah, Oregon won this one pretty easily.

[00:33:11] LSU fought this to be a little more of a struggle against Arkansas.

[00:33:14] But they handled their business 34-10.

[00:33:17] Honestly, since they lost some of their defensive pieces a few weeks ago,

[00:33:22] LSU's defense has looked a lot better.

[00:33:23] Maybe it was a chemistry issue.

[00:33:25] But their defense seems to be clicking there and their offense is doing pretty well.

[00:33:30] Indiana just rolled over Nebraska 56-7.

[00:33:33] The quarterback did get hurt and is out this next game.

[00:33:36] But their defense looked good, offensively good.

[00:33:39] Nebraska never had a chance.

[00:33:41] Illinois won 21-7 over Michigan.

[00:33:43] I mean, I think enough said, I don't want to keep piling on Michigan every week,

[00:33:47] but that offense still is terrible and never just a terrible look there.

[00:33:52] Again, I think it's time to put that freshman quarterback in.

[00:33:55] You have nothing to lose at this point.

[00:33:56] The season is gone for you if I'm a Michigan fan.

[00:33:59] All right, so Jordan, Jess, any thoughts on any of those games?

[00:34:02] Start with you, Jess.

[00:34:08] I mean, not really.

[00:34:21] The, the whatchamacallit, the, oh my god.

[00:34:24] Which one stood out to me there?

[00:34:28] The, I never really thought, I mean, I guess I thought maybe Purdue could put a scare into Oregon, but not really.

[00:34:38] I, I don't want to talk about the Nebraska game.

[00:34:41] I think that might have been the thing that was, the game I've been most wrong about all year there, the Nebraska-Indiana game.

[00:34:50] Um, yeah, I mean, I guess Oregon rolled, Nebraska got rolled.

[00:34:54] Those, those are the two games I was kind of most interested in of the up, potential upset picks that we had last week.

[00:35:01] And, uh, one wasn't interesting and one was a disaster for me.

[00:35:08] Hi, Jordan.

[00:35:09] Any thoughts from you?

[00:35:10] Closing thoughts here?

[00:35:11] Oh, LSU has turned it around since that, when they lose the USC in the beginning of the season.

[00:35:17] Yeah.

[00:35:17] Um, they look, honestly, they're, to me, they're kind of up there in the, I know I don't want to say it because Brian Kelly, but, um, they look kind of complete.

[00:35:28] Um, quarterback looks good.

[00:35:31] No touchdowns, but consistent.

[00:35:33] Um, their running game honestly looks like one of the best in the SEC, which is not hard to say because I feel like there's not a lot of running teams.

[00:35:41] So, um, yeah, no, uh, that's the most surprising.

[00:35:45] I mean, I think we all were kind of on the fence with LSU, but they're kind of showing out since that USC game.

[00:35:53] Um, and finding stuff on offense that not a lot of teams in the SEC are finding.

[00:35:59] So we'll know more.

[00:36:01] We'll talk about it, but more this weekend when they play Texas A&M, but right now, LSU looks good.

[00:36:05] Indiana looks good.

[00:36:07] I'm still kind of comfortable with Indiana in the sense that that backup quarterback Tavon or what's his name?

[00:36:13] What?

[00:36:14] What?

[00:36:14] Tony, it's your team, man.

[00:36:16] And not, um, not my team, but, uh,

[00:36:20] Uh, Tavon Jackson.

[00:36:22] Jackson, that sounds good.

[00:36:23] Uh, he, he came in, in the Nebraska game, seven for eight, two touchdowns, 91 yards.

[00:36:29] So, um, has had some plays under his belt.

[00:36:32] Um, so I, I think they should still be fine, especially if that defense still rolls like they've been.

[00:36:38] Um, I'm not surprised with Michigan losing against Illinois.

[00:36:41] Um, we all know why.

[00:36:43] Um, I'm not surprised Oregon went into Purdue and won 35 to zero.

[00:36:48] Um, Purdue looks really bad this year.

[00:36:50] Sorry, Tony.

[00:36:51] Um, we, I, it could have happened.

[00:36:55] All right.

[00:36:56] They could have had eight.

[00:36:58] Purdue had, could have had eight top two wins, but it didn't happen.

[00:37:04] And, uh, Oregon keeps rolling.

[00:37:09] Let's move on to week none.

[00:37:10] Uh, so go for some quick, um, quick picks here on, on some of the top games.

[00:37:15] There actually, I would say there's not a huge game.

[00:37:18] LSU, Texas, A&M, I guess it'll be the hugest game, but there's a lot of like pretty good matchups, um, this week.

[00:37:24] So what start out there in Syracuse, Syracuse is going to Pittsburgh.

[00:37:29] Um, both teams are pretty good.

[00:37:31] Pittsburgh's coming in undefeated six and oh, number 19 team in the country, Syracuse five and one.

[00:37:36] Um, probably they lost that Stanford game, but, um, but both teams, you know, have been playing pretty well.

[00:37:43] I think both are coming off a pretty good victories.

[00:37:46] Um, Syracuse 24, 17 over North Carolina state pit 17 to 15 over Cal, you know?

[00:37:53] So I would say both teams have some issues, but overall having a pretty decent seasons.

[00:37:58] I think in this game, Pittsburgh is favored by four.

[00:38:01] So that being said, who you got Pittsburgh or Syracuse?

[00:38:04] Jess.

[00:38:06] Uh, I'm going to take Pittsburgh.

[00:38:09] Um, it's at home.

[00:38:12] They've been playing well.

[00:38:14] Uh, they, I mean, the, it was a close one.

[00:38:18] Uh, I think they had the bye this week, but, uh, when they played Cal, that was a close game, but it seems like they've been, they've been in control of a lot of these games.

[00:38:29] Close ones, uh, start the year with Cincy, but, uh, I mean, yeah, that, that Stanford loss wasn't great.

[00:38:37] Um, for, uh, Syracuse, they've had a couple other closer games that maybe they should have been, you know, a bit more like you would think they might've been a bit better in.

[00:38:51] But the fact that this game is at Pitt, I think that's going to be the deciding factor.

[00:38:55] Give me Pittsburgh.

[00:38:59] All right, Jordan, what do you think?

[00:39:01] Yeah, I'm on the same.

[00:39:02] I think Pitt is at home.

[00:39:05] Uh, this is probably going to be the closest game.

[00:39:07] It's probably going to be the same score as last week for Pitt Cal 17, 15.

[00:39:12] I think both these teams, I just don't know.

[00:39:16] Uh, they're, they're kind of hit or miss for me.

[00:39:19] I think Pitt just has more, just better, a little better all around than Syracuse.

[00:39:27] Syracuse has some holes that they need to figure out.

[00:39:31] Um, I do think Syracuse might have the better quarterback in common court.

[00:39:36] He looks good this year at points, but I still think being at home, I think Pitt's going to pull this one off and continue their undefeated streak.

[00:39:45] Just because I'm still kind of confused on what Syracuse is this year and what Kyle McCord are we going to see?

[00:39:53] Yeah, that's understandable.

[00:39:55] I think, um, I think during Emmerat Syracuse is that they, well, they won a couple of games last year.

[00:40:00] So they've already probably hit, you know, already have proven in the right direction, even with somebody's closer wins, even if they haven't come a court.

[00:40:09] I do like Eli Holstein, the quarterback for Pittsburgh.

[00:40:11] He's been playing pretty well.

[00:40:12] I don't think his numbers are as big as, um, Kyle McCord, but I thought he's been pretty impressive in some of the games that they've won.

[00:40:19] But yeah, both teams have, um, looked good in some games, but won over close games.

[00:40:24] And obviously Syracuse lost that game against Stanford.

[00:40:26] So I think since this one's at home, I think I will go ahead and take Pittsburgh in this one.

[00:40:30] But it would have shocked me if Syracuse was able to pull it off, um, there on the road.

[00:40:34] I think Kyle McCord obviously has some, you know, experience in these bigger night games.

[00:40:38] So yeah, I can see it going either way, but for now I'll go to Pittsburgh.

[00:40:42] All right, let's move on to, I think could be the game of the weekend.

[00:40:45] That's Boise State UNLV.

[00:40:47] Um, this could determine who is the, you know, the group of five playoff team.

[00:40:55] Um, UNLV 6-1, Boise State 5-1.

[00:40:59] I'm not quite sure why Boise State is ranked and UNLV is not.

[00:41:03] UNLV does have the wins over Oregon State and Kansas, where Boise does it have a big win outside of losing close to,

[00:41:11] uh, well they have the Washington State outside of losing close to Oregon.

[00:41:15] So, um, this could be interesting.

[00:41:17] I think right now Boise is favored by 2.5.

[00:41:19] It's at UNLV.

[00:41:21] Um, it should be, you know, pretty, pretty high scoring game, I imagine.

[00:41:26] I could see this game going, you know, 48-46 final seconds type of game.

[00:41:32] So, Jordan, who do you got in this one?

[00:41:34] You and Oli of Boise State.

[00:41:35] I got Boise State.

[00:41:36] I don't know.

[00:41:37] I think no one can stop Aston Gentry and even Oregon couldn't stop him.

[00:41:42] And I think they just, I don't know.

[00:41:46] It's just, it's Gentry.

[00:41:47] He's, he's just so, he's so good.

[00:41:51] Um, I just think that Boise State has, I don't know.

[00:41:57] They just, who did UNLV lost to Syracuse?

[00:42:01] Syracuse in the overtime.

[00:42:03] Yeah.

[00:42:03] But Boise State lost to Oregon State, Oregon by three.

[00:42:07] So, I don't know.

[00:42:09] I feel like Boise State is just a little better than UNLV and offense, offensively.

[00:42:18] Now defense is still a question mark, but I think having the best running back in college

[00:42:24] football right now on your team really, really is going to help.

[00:42:30] So I got Boise State.

[00:42:31] I guess you got.

[00:42:33] Yeah, I'm, I'm taking, uh, Ashton Gentry.

[00:42:37] Not necessarily Boise State.

[00:42:39] I'm just taking him.

[00:42:40] I mean, he's been, so this is, this might be the greatest running back season in college

[00:42:50] football history while we're with what we are witnessing from him.

[00:42:54] Oh, they'll tell Travis Hunter that.

[00:42:56] Yeah.

[00:42:57] Well, he can.

[00:43:00] Yep.

[00:43:00] Yeah.

[00:43:01] Yeah.

[00:43:01] Yeah.

[00:43:02] I'll just leave it there.

[00:43:03] But, oh my God, he is, at the very least in my college football watching time, I've never

[00:43:12] seen anything like what Ashton Deontay is doing.

[00:43:15] I mean, he's no one, I, I just, there are no words for what this guy is doing.

[00:43:23] Give, give me Boise State.

[00:43:25] Jordan?

[00:43:26] I already said Boise State.

[00:43:28] Thanks.

[00:43:28] You did say Boise State.

[00:43:29] That's right.

[00:43:29] Um, I just wanted to make sure he really meant that.

[00:43:32] Um, I think I'm taking, double down on it.

[00:43:35] I'm taking ULV.

[00:43:35] You can't, you can't, you put Boise State in your, your, your bracket.

[00:43:40] I know, I know, I know.

[00:43:41] I, I know I can't, but I am, I'm picking ULV cause, um, I, I just love ULV.

[00:43:47] I just picked their, I love their, their way they approach the offense.

[00:43:51] They're explosive and I just.

[00:43:53] You wanna be, we're sorry.

[00:43:55] Um, Tony just cursed your team.

[00:43:58] I gotta help my Boise State pick somehow.

[00:44:00] Um, so I'm picking ULV here to win.

[00:44:02] Um, all right.

[00:44:03] Next game, um, Notre Dame at Navy.

[00:44:06] Um, and, uh, but I'm gonna be, both teams are ranked, um, in this ball game.

[00:44:09] Um, Navy's coming in undefeated.

[00:44:12] You know, scoring a lot of points.

[00:44:13] I think their last free contest, 41, 34, 51.

[00:44:16] Before that 56, 38.

[00:44:17] So they're one of the highest scoring teams in the country, a Naval Academy.

[00:44:22] So, you know, that's kind of crazy.

[00:44:24] Defense has been playing too shabby as well.

[00:44:25] Obviously they really haven't played anybody.

[00:44:27] Um, they play Charlotte, Air Force, UAB, Memphis, Temple.

[00:44:33] Um, so they haven't played a huge, like defensive team.

[00:44:36] I don't think any outstanding, like offensive teams either.

[00:44:39] So how good is Navy?

[00:44:41] I guess we will find out this weekend.

[00:44:44] Um, obviously Notre Dame's coming in with, um, five,

[00:44:47] five wins in a row here after losing to Norbert, Illinois.

[00:44:50] They're now back up to number 12 in the country.

[00:44:52] Um, they're a favorite, but 13 and a half in this game.

[00:44:55] Riley Leonard is having.

[00:44:58] Halfs where he's looking really good and halfs where he's kind of sluggish.

[00:45:01] So see if he could put it all together in this game.

[00:45:04] Um, so Jordan, who do you got Notre Dame or Navy?

[00:45:07] I got Notre Dame, but it all depends on what Riley Leonard we get.

[00:45:13] Um, if we play sluggish all year, all the whole game, I can see Navy,

[00:45:17] just wearing this defense down.

[00:45:20] Um, we are already so injured.

[00:45:23] Notre Dame is already so injured on defense.

[00:45:26] So I don't know how much, you know, backup players we got,

[00:45:31] the depth we really have.

[00:45:34] If Navy runs the ball 80 times, I mean, last game, they ran it.

[00:45:42] Oh, 42.

[00:45:45] 80 times.

[00:45:46] But they run it 80 times where we, their name is not winning this game.

[00:45:49] I will say, but if they run it a lot,

[00:45:52] 80 times, how much like time of possession do that?

[00:45:55] Well, what are you guys doing?

[00:45:57] They never get the ball in this game.

[00:45:58] I think we need them.

[00:46:00] Uh, but if they run it a lot, I feel like it can wear this defense down enough.

[00:46:05] To be able, like Navy to pull it off.

[00:46:07] But I feel like Riley Leonard finding his own.

[00:46:10] This offense is finding its rhythm and they've been looking good.

[00:46:15] So I got Notre Dame.

[00:46:16] I think even if Riley Leonard has a bad quarter,

[00:46:20] I think their defense is going to be able to hold Navy's, you know,

[00:46:24] run attack up enough for him to find, catch, get his footing to continue,

[00:46:31] like make this game, you know, a Notre Dame victory.

[00:46:34] So give me Notre Dame.

[00:46:36] Cause if I pick Navy, I think I would get disowned.

[00:46:41] Yes.

[00:46:42] I mean, the injuries for Notre Dame do worry me,

[00:46:48] but I think they're just the more talented team.

[00:46:52] I mean, I give me Notre Dame.

[00:46:55] I like you said, it's not like Navy's truly played somebody that like,

[00:47:00] you know, we hold in that, you know, like, Oh my God,

[00:47:04] what a win sort of territory.

[00:47:06] But, uh, yeah, I think, uh, give me Notre Dame.

[00:47:11] Hopefully we don't curse them on Saturday, but that's right.

[00:47:15] So I do think Notre Dame will win.

[00:47:17] I do feel like the defense, the injuries are, are concerning,

[00:47:20] but what I have liked is that they put a bunch of true freshmen in and

[00:47:25] they're playing really well so far.

[00:47:27] I mean, holding Georgia Tech to 13, Stanford to seven,

[00:47:31] even though the team, when they were playing tough, bad on offense,

[00:47:34] they held Miami of Ohio, the three Purdue to seven.

[00:47:37] I mean, they, they're not teams are not scoring on them.

[00:47:40] Um, even Texas am has had trouble with that.

[00:47:43] So, um, you know,

[00:47:45] if Bradley and Eric can just not turn the ball over and just do his job and

[00:47:48] they run the ball.

[00:47:49] Well, I mean, they should be able to win this one.

[00:47:51] So I'll pick the third day.

[00:47:53] All right.

[00:47:54] Next up, Illinois, Oregon.

[00:47:56] So, um, obviously, um, this one will be at Oregon.

[00:48:00] Oregon, we thought we'd have a little bit of come down game last week

[00:48:03] against Purdue.

[00:48:04] They didn't.

[00:48:04] So I'm not sure what to expect this one.

[00:48:07] Illinois has been kind of hit or miss.

[00:48:08] They, they gave up all these points to, to Purdue.

[00:48:12] Then they come in and just shut down Michigan, but then it's Michigan.

[00:48:16] So I don't know what that's really saying anything.

[00:48:18] So I'm not really sure what to expect to this game.

[00:48:20] I just imagine that it's going to, since it's at Oregon, uh, that Oregon will,

[00:48:24] will come in and win this game pretty easily.

[00:48:26] But, uh, I don't know.

[00:48:28] What, what do you say, Jess?

[00:48:31] Yeah, I think Oregon's gonna just win this game easily.

[00:48:34] I don't have too much to say here.

[00:48:36] I mean, Illinois has been pleasantly surprising this year, but you know,

[00:48:41] like we were saying earlier when we were having the whole Miami discussion

[00:48:44] and Oregon, you know, there are teams that you just expect to win.

[00:48:48] Oregon, that's just Oregon right now.

[00:48:50] I just expect them to win.

[00:48:53] All right.

[00:48:54] Yeah, no, I'm with Jess.

[00:48:56] I think Oregon's gonna win this game easily.

[00:48:59] Honestly, yeah, I'm surprised in Illinois,

[00:49:03] but have they really played anyone besides Penn State?

[00:49:08] Um, they had Nebraska, it was Eastern Illinois, Kansas, Central Michigan,

[00:49:14] Nebraska, Penn State, Purdue, Michigan.

[00:49:16] That's it.

[00:49:17] Yeah.

[00:49:18] So we haven't really-

[00:49:19] Maybe they're not what we thought they were, you know?

[00:49:21] And saying, like, you know, defensively dominated Michigan is not hard.

[00:49:27] I feel like a really good, IMG Academy could hold Michigan.

[00:49:32] What's that fake school in Ohio?

[00:49:34] They could probably do that too.

[00:49:36] Yeah, IMG Academy probably could hold Michigan to seven points.

[00:49:39] Yeah.

[00:49:40] So yeah.

[00:49:41] Oregon by-

[00:49:42] A billion.

[00:49:43] 22.

[00:49:44] 22.

[00:49:45] All right.

[00:49:46] Missouri, Alabama's next.

[00:49:48] Alabama's favored by 14.

[00:49:49] This game's at Alabama.

[00:49:51] Alabama against five and two.

[00:49:53] After their loss to Tennessee, Missouri's coming off their win against Auburn,

[00:49:57] where Brady Cook got hurt majority of the game,

[00:49:59] but came back in in the fourth quarter to help them get that victory.

[00:50:03] Both teams haven't looked as great this year, so a little weird.

[00:50:07] Weird matchup here, but Jordan, who you got in this one?

[00:50:09] Missouri or Alabama?

[00:50:11] Oh my gosh.

[00:50:12] This is the hardest game to choose this week.

[00:50:15] I-

[00:50:17] I don't know.

[00:50:19] Can I choose neither?

[00:50:21] It's a tie.

[00:50:22] I-

[00:50:22] I-

[00:50:25] Um, I think, all right.

[00:50:29] It's gonna be Missouri.

[00:50:31] I-

[00:50:31] I think Missouri's gonna win this one.

[00:50:32] I don't know.

[00:50:33] I just don't like Alabama right now.

[00:50:36] I think Missouri-

[00:50:37] I think Brady Cook-

[00:50:40] He-

[00:50:41] That's why he came back.

[00:50:41] He said he only has-

[00:50:42] He has two and a half games left at home, but-

[00:50:49] It's his final year.

[00:50:50] He knows it.

[00:50:51] I think he-

[00:50:52] After getting hurt and then coming back, I think he's gonna want it.

[00:50:54] And I think Luther Burton III is gonna have his best game of the season.

[00:50:59] He's been struggling lately, so he needs to have it.

[00:51:01] Alabama has been struggling lately as well.

[00:51:03] So, give me Missouri.

[00:51:05] I-

[00:51:06] I think they're gonna surprise a lot of people.

[00:51:09] Chess, do you agree?

[00:51:11] Give me Bama.

[00:51:13] I-

[00:51:13] I think Bama, they're not gonna lose back to back.

[00:51:17] I think Missouri struggled when they played against better defenses.

[00:51:20] It's-

[00:51:21] If it was Nick Saban saying that, I understand.

[00:51:24] But it's not.

[00:51:25] We're out of that era.

[00:51:26] It's gone.

[00:51:26] He lost to Vanderbilt, turned around, almost lost to South Carolina the following week,

[00:51:31] and then lost to Tennessee the week after that.

[00:51:33] So, I mean, it's-

[00:51:33] It's danger time for Alabama here.

[00:51:35] Yeah, but Missouri-

[00:51:37] Does Missouri have a good defense?

[00:51:41] I don't know.

[00:51:42] Who do they play that has a good offense?

[00:51:43] Well, they gave up 41 to Texas A&M, so-

[00:51:45] But Texas A&M looks good.

[00:51:46] I-

[00:51:48] I thought Missouri-

[00:51:50] I just think that Alabama is gonna be able to win this game off of talent, and they-

[00:51:59] they have all of the pressure in this game.

[00:52:03] Yeah.

[00:52:04] And I think Alabama-

[00:52:06] It's not Nick Saban, Alabama, but I think they are gonna bounce back.

[00:52:10] I think they're gonna respond.

[00:52:11] I think they're gonna win this game.

[00:52:13] All right.

[00:52:14] I tend to agree.

[00:52:16] I think Alabama will win just because it's at home, and I feel like-

[00:52:18] I'll tell it, Missouri.

[00:52:20] If Missouri was scoring like they were last year and playing good defense like they were

[00:52:24] last year, I would probably pick Missouri, but Missouri just kinda has been a shell of

[00:52:28] itself this year, so I don't have a lot-

[00:52:29] Just like Alabama.

[00:52:31] Yeah, but the shell of Alabama, I think it could beat the shell of Missouri is what I'm

[00:52:36] going with, I guess.

[00:52:36] I don't know, playing the shell game here.

[00:52:39] Um, so let's go ahead and go with Alabama.

[00:52:41] Um, all right.

[00:52:44] Texas at Vanderbilt.

[00:52:46] Well, when we- when we saw the- the schedule this season, this was not one of the games

[00:52:50] I thought we would be talking about, but here we are.

[00:52:53] Um, so obviously Vanderbilt's coming in with some nice victories.

[00:52:58] Um, you know, they tend to struggle-

[00:53:00] They play up and down to the opponent, it seems like.

[00:53:03] They're looking at their loss to Georgia State and struggle a bit with Ball State last

[00:53:06] week, but they- they play up to the- to the competition for sure.

[00:53:10] Um, to the- the bigger teams.

[00:53:12] But, um, who do you guys have in this one?

[00:53:15] Um, Texas or Vanderbilt?

[00:53:17] Jess?

[00:53:18] Give me Texas.

[00:53:21] Like, they're not-

[00:53:24] When-

[00:53:25] Texas has played pretty much anybody except for Georgia,

[00:53:31] Georgia, they've dominated.

[00:53:34] And we all know the level of talent that Georgia has, as we discussed earlier in particular

[00:53:42] on the defensive line.

[00:53:46] Vanderbilt has been a great story, but they are not going to stun Texas.

[00:53:56] Give me Texas.

[00:53:58] Jordan, do you agree?

[00:53:59] Yeah.

[00:54:01] I don't know.

[00:54:02] I- I just feel like Texas is not Alabama.

[00:54:07] Texas is a little more consistent on defense.

[00:54:10] And Texas does have a better quarterback than-

[00:54:13] And Quinn Ewers than Jello Milrow.

[00:54:15] I-

[00:54:16] No, wait, what are you talking about?

[00:54:17] I thought you were talking about, um, Pavi-

[00:54:19] I like Pavi better at Vanderbilt than-

[00:54:20] No, I do too.

[00:54:21] But I'm just saying, I think-

[00:54:24] I just think Texas right now has a better team than Alabama.

[00:54:28] That makes sense.

[00:54:29] Yeah.

[00:54:29] And I think Vanderbilt won't be able to exploit as much as they did against Alabama.

[00:54:36] So give me Texas and not Arch Manning.

[00:54:43] Um, I see he did not leave him back to victory.

[00:54:45] I was very struck-

[00:54:47] They tried.

[00:54:47] I didn't do that.

[00:54:48] Um, give me Vanderbilt in this game.

[00:54:51] I-

[00:54:52] No, never mind.

[00:54:52] I was just joking.

[00:54:53] I was just kidding.

[00:54:54] I was just kidding.

[00:54:55] I was just kidding.

[00:54:55] Uh, no, I-

[00:54:58] I mean, I would love to pick Vanderbilt in this game, but I-

[00:55:00] I don't think they're gonna catch anybody on surprise anymore this season.

[00:55:03] And I feel like, um, they'll put up a pretty decent battle for quarter and two.

[00:55:10] The defense has played up or down.

[00:55:12] They may be able to do something there, but I just-

[00:55:14] I just can't see it.

[00:55:16] Texas is not gonna come in and lose for a second straight game.

[00:55:19] They're gonna be ready to go in this game and get-

[00:55:21] get their way back to the playoffs.

[00:55:23] So I-

[00:55:24] I'll definitely pick Texas in this one.

[00:55:26] Um, alright, let's move ahead to LSU and Texas A&M.

[00:55:30] Um, to pick right now, Texas A&M is favored by two and a half.

[00:55:34] This game is at Texas A&M.

[00:55:35] It is at night.

[00:55:36] It's 730.

[00:55:38] Um, Texas A&M is 14th.

[00:55:41] LSU is eighth in the country.

[00:55:44] Um, let me see.

[00:55:45] As far as like wins this year, LSU has some pretty decent ones.

[00:55:49] 34-10 over Arkansas, like we mentioned.

[00:55:51] They beat Ole Miss.

[00:55:53] Then that's pretty much it as far as their big wins.

[00:55:57] Um, and then Texas A&M.

[00:55:58] Again, hasn't beaten anybody great.

[00:56:00] Um, they beat Missouri when Missouri was ranked the top 10 team.

[00:56:04] And they beat Arkansas.

[00:56:05] Uh, but if you look at compared to schedules, you would think LSU is more-

[00:56:08] definitely more, um, well-rounded team here.

[00:56:12] Um, so who do you guys have in this one?

[00:56:13] LSU or Texas A&M?

[00:56:15] Start with you, Jordan.

[00:56:17] Uh, I don't want to say it.

[00:56:20] But, even though it's at Texas A&M, I'm going to pick LSU.

[00:56:25] I like Nussmeyer more than Wagman.

[00:56:28] We never know what we're going to get with Wagman.

[00:56:32] Wake, whatever.

[00:56:33] Um, I just, I don't know.

[00:56:35] I got LSU on this one.

[00:56:37] I think their offense is just a little better.

[00:56:39] And their defense is going to be able to control Texas A&M's, you know, run game.

[00:56:45] Cause that really looks like what they're getting behind more in these games.

[00:56:50] So, give me LSU.

[00:56:52] Just agree.

[00:56:56] I'm torn because of how disruptive we know A&M's front can be.

[00:57:03] But, I think LSU has two of the best tackles in the draft in Campbell and Tracy.

[00:57:14] Both are going to be like first or second round picks.

[00:57:18] I mean, Campbell's probably a top 10 pick.

[00:57:20] Maybe even top 5.

[00:57:22] Uh, Tracy is probably going to be one of those guys that's like a late first, early second projection as of right now.

[00:57:30] That's what I'm seeing from big boards and everything.

[00:57:35] Um, yeah, give me LSU.

[00:57:39] The being at A&M gives me pause.

[00:57:43] But I think LSU is the better team with the better quarterback.

[00:57:47] Maybe even the better head coach, but you know.

[00:57:50] Hey, whoa, whoa.

[00:57:51] I'll let you guys discuss that one.

[00:57:53] I'll let you guys.

[00:57:54] I'll let you guys.

[00:57:56] Uh, Nutzmeier has only been sacked twice this season.

[00:57:59] And it was against South Carolina.

[00:58:01] So, yeah.

[00:58:04] They got some, they got some boys.

[00:58:05] They haven't played against the defensive line either.

[00:58:07] That's true.

[00:58:08] That's also true.

[00:58:09] Yeah.

[00:58:09] But, uh, yeah.

[00:58:10] Give me LSU.

[00:58:12] Give me Texas A&M.

[00:58:13] I have no, no issue.

[00:58:16] Two years ago, LSU, much better team.

[00:58:19] With the Texas A&M, lost by 15.

[00:58:21] Last year, again, they had a much better team.

[00:58:24] Only won by 12 at LSU.

[00:58:25] I feel like these teams are pretty evenly matched.

[00:58:28] And it usually depends on where they're playing, who gets to win these last few years.

[00:58:32] Um, and so that, and I just feel like the defensive line and that crazy crowd noise.

[00:58:38] If LSU gets behind and Nutzmeier starts trying to force things like he has in the past, I feel like that defense will, will be able to shut Nutzmeier down.

[00:58:47] And I feel like there's still some holes on the corner backs for LSU, if you saw from the USC game.

[00:58:53] Um, that they haven't played anybody that can really take advantage.

[00:58:56] I mean, Ole Miss, I guess, but Ole Miss has been kind of struggling throughout the season.

[00:59:00] So, I just feel like Texas A&M will win this game and continue their march towards the SEC championship game.

[00:59:06] So give me Texas A&M.

[00:59:09] Um, all right.

[00:59:10] Deep in my heart, I'm going to be rooting for that A&M victory because of what we talked about earlier with that potential A&M.

[00:59:16] Because of Brian Kelly.

[00:59:18] Yeah.

[00:59:18] Yeah, we know.

[00:59:19] We agree with you.

[00:59:19] Sure.

[00:59:19] Yeah.

[00:59:20] Okay.

[00:59:21] Thank you.

[00:59:22] Thank you.

[00:59:23] That's all I wanted to, Jess.

[00:59:23] Cincinnati agrees with you as well.

[00:59:25] Yes.

[00:59:26] Everybody agrees with you.

[00:59:27] I'm totally not being held hostage here.

[00:59:31] All right.

[00:59:32] Let's quick rapid fire.

[00:59:34] 10, 20 seconds.

[00:59:35] Um, Nebraska.

[00:59:37] These are going to be a potential upset game.

[00:59:38] So tell me if you're going to pick the upset or not.

[00:59:40] Nebraska at Ohio State, are you picking the upset, Jess?

[00:59:42] No.

[00:59:44] Jordan.

[00:59:45] No.

[00:59:46] I am definitely not picking Nebraska.

[00:59:47] You burned me once and I will not let it happen.

[00:59:50] Nebraska will not burn you again.

[00:59:51] Yeah, Nebraska, you know, you start off season well.

[00:59:54] Hopefully there's always next year.

[00:59:56] Um, all right.

[00:59:57] Here's an interesting one.

[00:59:58] Washington, Indiana, as I mentioned, Indiana, um, quarterback, um, is out for this game.

[01:00:04] We talked about the backup a little bit, but, um, who do you guys have in this one?

[01:00:08] Washington or Indiana?

[01:00:10] Jordan, go ahead.

[01:00:11] Indiana.

[01:00:12] Just cause game day is going to be there.

[01:00:15] Oh.

[01:00:17] Great.

[01:00:18] I guess.

[01:00:18] Uh, Jess.

[01:00:23] Indiana's QB out.

[01:00:25] The backup QB is not horrible and their defense is good.

[01:00:29] Yeah.

[01:00:30] Yeah.

[01:00:31] Yeah.

[01:00:31] I think, and I think this is going to be a low scoring game, but I think Indiana's defense

[01:00:35] will be able to, uh, keep them in it enough for them to make one or two plays that Washington

[01:00:41] just can't.

[01:00:42] So no upset.

[01:00:44] It's tough.

[01:00:45] It's tough.

[01:00:45] Cause I look at Washington, a very hit or miss.

[01:00:47] In fact, they have won and lost every single game.

[01:00:50] They lost.

[01:00:51] Watch this day.

[01:00:52] Next week.

[01:00:53] One against Nebraska Northwestern.

[01:00:56] Next week.

[01:00:56] Lost against Rutgers.

[01:00:57] Next week.

[01:00:58] Beat Michigan.

[01:00:59] Next week.

[01:01:00] Lost against Iowa, which means this week they win against Indiana.

[01:01:04] So they'll give me Washington with the every, every game logic there without, um,

[01:01:10] Rourke in the game for Indiana.

[01:01:11] I just feel like their offense may struggle a bit.

[01:01:14] Um, I know, I mean, they could probably make some things happen and defense will be good,

[01:01:18] but I think Will Rogers, um, we'll be able to, the score a little bit here.

[01:01:23] Um, and then they get some momentum going.

[01:01:25] I see, I can see them winning this game, but again, if I had to pick upset, it's probably

[01:01:29] one out of the week that we'll pick.

[01:01:31] All right.

[01:01:31] Next up.

[01:01:32] BYU at central Florida, central Florida, almost at Iowa state.

[01:01:36] Can they get the every big 12 team?

[01:01:37] Um, BYU.

[01:01:38] So just what'd you say?

[01:01:43] No, no upset.

[01:01:45] BYU is going to win.

[01:01:47] Jordan.

[01:01:47] You agree?

[01:01:48] Yeah, I agree.

[01:01:49] I think they're just all around better team than UCF.

[01:01:53] Yeah, I agree.

[01:01:54] BYU.

[01:01:55] I think it's, um, if central Florida had maybe one last week might be a little different,

[01:01:59] but they guys are heartbroken.

[01:02:00] They're probably not gonna be as motivated for this one.

[01:02:02] I'd give me BYU.

[01:02:04] Um, Penn State at Wisconsin.

[01:02:06] Can Wisconsin pull the update at Wisconsin?

[01:02:09] Jess.

[01:02:14] No, this is another one.

[01:02:15] I just think Penn State's the better team.

[01:02:18] Way more NFL talent.

[01:02:21] Give me Penn State.

[01:02:22] I do want to point out the last three games for Wisconsin.

[01:02:25] They, they beat Purdue 52 to six Rutgers 42 to seven and Northwestern 23 to three.

[01:02:30] So maybe they found something.

[01:02:31] Jordan, what do you got?

[01:02:34] Oh, I know you want to do it.

[01:02:36] I want to.

[01:02:37] I know you want to.

[01:02:39] I was at Wisconsin.

[01:02:40] I would.

[01:02:41] 30 PM.

[01:02:42] See, we rock it at night.

[01:02:43] Jordan.

[01:02:44] What do you say?

[01:02:44] I would if Tyler Van Dyke was still quarterback, but they've been playing better since, tell

[01:02:50] it, but they, but he got hurt against Alabama.

[01:02:55] Against Alabama.

[01:02:55] Against Alabama.

[01:02:56] Early.

[01:02:57] They lost the USC game because they were getting used to the transition and now they're

[01:02:59] doing fine.

[01:03:00] You know what?

[01:03:01] You know what?

[01:03:02] Penn State's, Penn State's going to win.

[01:03:04] I don't, I don't know.

[01:03:06] I don't know.

[01:03:06] Wisconsin is hit or miss for me.

[01:03:08] I think we don't know.

[01:03:10] I just feel like we don't know what we're going to get out of Wisconsin.

[01:03:13] And I think Penn State has just been a little more consistent.

[01:03:17] Um, they found a bit of a groove post.

[01:03:20] You know what?

[01:03:21] No, no, I'm picking Wisconsin.

[01:03:22] It's at home.

[01:03:23] It's a night game.

[01:03:25] I don't think Drew Aller is going to be ready for it.

[01:03:28] All right.

[01:03:29] Um, they had a bad way to get ready for it, but we'll see.

[01:03:32] Um, but yeah, I mean, that's tough.

[01:03:36] Defense is preparing really well.

[01:03:37] Wisconsin offense is preparing pretty decent.

[01:03:40] Penn State's kind of the same.

[01:03:42] Oh, give me Wisconsin.

[01:03:44] Let's go.

[01:03:45] The upset is happening.

[01:03:46] One in favor of the upset.

[01:03:49] Yeah.

[01:03:49] I think the upset's happening.

[01:03:50] Penn State's feeling good about themselves.

[01:03:52] They just beat a under 500 USC team last time they played.

[01:03:56] Now they get the loss.

[01:03:57] Um, final game of the weekend.

[01:03:59] And probably the best game, right?

[01:04:01] SMU at Duke.

[01:04:02] Um, both teams coming in with only one loss.

[01:04:06] Um, honestly, whoever wins this game could still have a shot at the, um, at the eight,

[01:04:12] the ACC title game.

[01:04:14] More likely best.

[01:04:15] SMU wins or definitely have a bigger, bigger shot there.

[01:04:18] So who do you guys have SMU or Duke?

[01:04:20] Obviously Duke is not favorite in this one.

[01:04:22] So, um, are you picking upset with Duke or are you going with the favorite SMU?

[01:04:26] So start with you, Jess.

[01:04:30] Hmm.

[01:04:32] No, I think I'm going to take SMU.

[01:04:35] Although I'd be lying if I said part of my reasoning wasn't that I've been, uh, having

[01:04:41] to be burned by a Duke quarterback, uh, for the last six years as a Giants fan.

[01:04:49] So.

[01:04:50] Yeah.

[01:04:51] Not that much.

[01:04:51] This weekend was a really bad for me as a football fan.

[01:04:55] You guys can, you can draft Raleigh Leonard and then you'll be good to go.

[01:04:58] Uh, it'll be the same.

[01:04:59] It'll be the same thing.

[01:05:00] No, no, no, no, no.

[01:05:02] Another Daniel Jones on their team.

[01:05:04] Yeah.

[01:05:04] That's all you need.

[01:05:05] Uh, Jordan, what you got?

[01:05:07] I got SMU.

[01:05:08] I think SMU has found their footing in this, you know, power for conferences and haven't

[01:05:15] really looked back since, was it the first game of the season?

[01:05:19] I lost BYU.

[01:05:20] Yeah.

[01:05:21] Well, we questioned that game of the season.

[01:05:23] Third game.

[01:05:24] They lost to BYU 18 to 15.

[01:05:26] Um, and then they just rolled after that 66, 42 TCU, 42 to 16, Florida State 37, 34 to

[01:05:36] 27 against Louisville, blew out Stanford 40 to 10.

[01:05:39] So I got SMU.

[01:05:40] I think they're just, uh, offensively better.

[01:05:44] Yeah.

[01:05:44] I tend to agree.

[01:05:45] Uh, this game is, um, at 8 PM.

[01:05:48] The camera cases will be out.

[01:05:50] Um, I don't know if it'll matter.

[01:05:52] I think SMU is just a better offensive team.

[01:05:53] Duke is a better defensive team.

[01:05:55] So we'll see what, what kind of comes out there at the end.

[01:05:57] But I do think SMU will find a way to win and keep their standing on top of ACC and

[01:06:01] tech.

[01:06:02] So, all right.

[01:06:03] Should be like I said, interesting week games.

[01:06:06] Um, may just, we'll be down at MetLife Stadium, which I'm sure is a lovely, lovely

[01:06:10] stadium.

[01:06:11] Um, okay.

[01:06:12] Well, um, be there to watch the Notre Dame Navy game top 20.

[01:06:16] So match up.

[01:06:17] So hopefully bring some good juju for Notre Dame for us Notre Dame fans out there.

[01:06:22] Um, and then we will talk all about the games next week, guys.

[01:06:26] If you have any comments or questions, reach out to us on Twitter in the flat pod until

[01:06:31] next week.

[01:06:32] Talk to you soon.

[01:06:33] Bye.
