[00:00:27] Alright, welcome everybody to the late es episode in the Flat Podcast. I'm your host Tony Kielich, and Wayne as always by Jess and Jordan. This is now our season finale tears following for the college football season.

[00:00:40] What a season it was. As a nerdy fan, it was a little bitter. I don't know, it was a terrible ending. I was just not that anyone. It's like a movie that I want my money back to get out of kind of thanks.

[00:00:53] Michigan got to give a little bit of credit to them. They ended up winning the championship. They beat Washington at 34-13 in the title game. They came out played a good defensive game.

[00:01:06] They ran the ball down the throat of Washington, Washington, that stopped the run, giving up for 100 free yards of rushing. So, good performance with Michigan. You just hate that. They basically blamed it. Caught cheating for half the year and nothing happened.

[00:01:22] They just, their coach got the spread of free games. They hear they are. They win the National Championship. Who knows what information they got throughout the whole season that they were able to use or not who knows how many of those games and what did they win?

[00:01:34] They may have lost if they didn't cheat. Who knows all that? So, it's just kind of a weird bitter taste in your mouth at the end of the season. But, that's a great submission.

[00:01:42] I'm sure we'll be hearing from you guys for 20 years because of this championship. So, get on to you guys for winning this one. But first, let's think a step back quickly to talk about because we did get the chance to meet last week.

[00:01:56] But, the recap playoff, so we started off with Michigan, Alabama, Michigan and over time, 27-20. Alabama, they had their chances.

[00:02:05] They were able to run the ball against Michigan. 172 yards, Jellamaro did decent job. But, I think the story of that game was they could not step the ball to the quarterback and it kept biting them up on the ball all the game long.

[00:02:18] Now, that center has fan 30s at Ohio State. And, who knows what's next year is going to hold for Alabama? They're defensively good. I think they got to get that offense worked out. And, in the every side, we had Washington being in Texas in a Frelor 37-31.

[00:02:34] This was definitely out of the two gays. This is one of the Michael Panics World Remembrance. He'll forget about the championship game. But he threw her 430 yards against Texas.

[00:02:43] Really put up some monster numbers. They were able to run the ball. I do wonder, Johnson, they run it back from Washington. I heard this game with the end. That actually cost Washington in the National Championship game.

[00:02:55] Because, though he was able to run, you could tell he wasn't himself. So, of course, that led us to the last night where when Washington really tried to fight back in it.

[00:03:05] He kept going up to with in seven and a half time. But really, through intersection of start, it really could never catch back up. And Michigan, you know, with multiple long runs, Wardown, the Washington defense was able to win this one as a mentor of 434-13.

[00:03:21] Jim Harbaugh's calling JJ McArthur, he'd a greatest quarterback in Michigan and College of All History. He only threw 140 yards of his game and nobody noticed that.

[00:03:30] He didn't have to do anything. They were able to run the ball, like, quorum. I'll never anything from his team. His play quorum had back to back to Moss for seasons.

[00:03:38] I don't think he hasn't had a couple touchdowns, 140 or 40 yards. They were able to dominate this game. So, guys, Michigan is the champion. What do you say? Jordan, you're there in the in-bishop. How are we feeling out there? How's that?

[00:03:53] It's crazy. And Arbor was insane, I guess. A lot of fires I heard. Everything just before I forget. Blake Quorum is the only quarterback running back in what the 2000s, the score, a touchdown, a rushing touchdown in every game of the season 15 games.

[00:04:16] No, only other quarterback, only running back to do that. Derek Henry. So good. I'm not even in the NFL. He came back, you know? But. Coming up in a little bit or something. He's bitter about everything.

[00:04:36] So, this whole situation is bitter about I'm not going to play. That's the top of Michigan for all these few warm ups. So, well, now the Alabama Michigan game. Alabama had that game in their head palm of their hand.

[00:04:50] You know, they just, I don't know how they didn't finish. All the bad ball. I don't have a quarter of a month. Everything. My biggest question is, where like why would you to end the game? A QB sneak fourth and two or whatever.

[00:05:12] So I actually heard some people speculating that based on what one of the wide receivers did. It was actually meant to be an RPO bubble screen. But once again, the Alabama center boxed the snap. So, Milo decided like, I don't have time to throw the screen.

[00:05:35] I just have to go and obviously Michigan was just right there. Okay, but you know you're not going to make it. Why I just throw the screen. Because I guess that just didn't cross the line or he.

[00:05:50] I'll tell you why he did it for a screen because he only for a hundred and sixteen yards of that game. He, I don't think he was capable of comfortable enough to throw it. No, yes. You're not wrong.

[00:06:02] And I think Alabama needs to get a quarter back or being good. Milo, Delan Rowe's coming back next year. If I was him, I probably think about transferring because he's going to get bench to some point next year.

[00:06:15] And you can't blame the center on his issues next year because it's a lot. Oh, it's a center transfer to Ohio State. You could always blame the center. I mean for that game, yeah. No, every game.

[00:06:29] He was really hit or missed. Delan Rowe has a really good game, so where he just basically incredible plays. But he, but they did it. He just was able to maintain that for out the year as consistency. This was a dare.

[00:06:45] Yeah, that's a, and that's the biggest thing. He just looked, he didn't look like an Alabama quarterback that we know. Consistent. They were going from Bryce Young to Jell-Milro and you all saw Jell-Milro last year. And from Jell-Milro, to Mac Jones, to Bryce Young and out of Jell-Milro.

[00:07:08] Alabama had to de-finstretch their quarterbacks. They did, and now they have him. Honestly, like Alabama this year was weird because their coaching staff is probably the weakest it's ever been.

[00:07:27] The spread of talent in college football was, as we're just as kind of spread out as it's been in recent years. And now that's why you see like teams like Michigan and Washington really able to compete.

[00:07:43] You know, this year there was no Georgia super team. Alabama super team. You know, you know, you know, you did. You had no 2019 LSU. So you really got to see teams that weren't these phenomenal beasts.

[00:07:57] But, you know, they're just really solid, very good teams and that made things a bit more even. I mean, Washington still had a chance in that game if Panics was able to hit these guys when they were wide open or if they had it.

[00:08:12] If he had a bit more time for a longer developing routes or, you know, sometimes it was just the receivers just couldn't hold on.

[00:08:19] Even though you'd expect them to be able to. So, you know, I feel like this game was a bit closer than the score would indicate, but at the same time it never truly felt like Washington was really in the game.

[00:08:31] I don't know if you guys kind of get what I'm saying here. But, the Alabama, Michigan controlled the game from start to finish, but Washington had a chance, especially at halftime.

[00:08:45] Oh, yeah. Like if Michael Panics didn't do the interception, the start to have a drop down there score touchdown. This was going to be really good game, but they just have to. He should have ate the sack, but he tried to make a play.

[00:08:57] I don't think he tried to make, I think he tried to build a ball away, but he got rolled up on. So like if you want, he was trying to throw the ball away.

[00:09:03] But he got hit right when he threw the ball and it made it not go where he wanted to. Hey, good ups on the corner that catch that ball though. No, no. Most receivers can't even do that. So I'm sure you guys have heard this story.

[00:09:23] I don't know how many listeners have, but you know, this the weak leading up to the game. I heard the story non-stop about how in 2020, the pandemic year, Harba reached out to his brother, the Baltimore Ravens coach and was like, look, I need to beat Ohio State.

[00:09:45] Give me two of your defensive coordinators or give me a defensive coordinator. John Harba gave them two to interview Jim Harba picked one.

[00:09:55] And then that guy integrated this defensive scheme that now everybody in college football currently is like trying to copy where it's like you just have so many hybrid,

[00:10:04] you know, lineback or DBs. You know, you have run stuffers up the middle and, you know, past rushers on the edge and then you got all these hybrid guys behind them. I imagine that's a very simplified way of what the scheme actually is.

[00:10:21] And so essentially they construct this, this Michigan team is constructed to beat the Ohio State teams of the past few years with like CJ Straud, you know, and just all of the wide receivers.

[00:10:36] And so when they matched up with Washington, they could not have gotten a better match up because this Washington team is a really good quarterback.

[00:10:44] A three deep NFL level wide receiving core decent on the offensive line except post except, you know, that's where all the focuses and a weak defense. So Michigan could do a sense of whatever they wanted on offense and their defense is perfectly constructed to handle.

[00:11:02] Washington's offense. So it to me, like Washington was probably praying they got Emma. Like, because Bama isn't constructed this way the way that Michigan's defense is.

[00:11:19] So when you have these kinds of matchups, Washington, I mean, it just like you said during Michigan had this game under control from the kickoff. Like they were able to make some make it interesting in the middle there, but they never really had a shot. Nope.

[00:11:39] All right, you know, get performance. I agree if your point A really did build their team to beat those teams. I do wonder like what that Georgia matchup would look like. We'll never know.

[00:11:51] But hey, George lost out Bamu, you know, so that made it. They took out themselves. So, so, but I don't know if I don't know if not, anyone really probably follows the FCS. The FCS championship game was Sunday. Just something to say, right? South Dakota State. Martin Montana.

[00:12:12] The first two drives of the game took up the first quarter. Really? So South Dakota State had a six minute and 52 second 11 play drive. And Montana had a 15 play eight minute and 14 second drive. I thought I'd put it out there. Go.

[00:12:41] Oh, I mean, it sounds like a boring game to be totally full of the answers. Yeah, that's why I'm throwing it out there, right? So you say it in the South the only bad championship game that was, um, no, no, yeah, see? Yeah, see.

[00:12:53] Did you see that was raining in the dome? I did. I just said, I saw there was like tornadoes in your body. So I was wondering if that was, you know, God, try to step in the help. You get to get there.

[00:13:04] So, I actually, I definitely, one thing, you know, to say about these games is like, this was probably one of the better college football playoff game. See, you know, just anything, you know, all four games that we've had in the last, you know, two or three.

[00:13:22] I mean, last year the college football, you know, the playoff games are good. The national championship game sucked. Like this year, all of it was good. There was a chance for every team to win.

[00:13:33] Um, I think we had the four best teams, you know, in a sense, to play. So yeah, I mean, the semi finals were great. I, I think that was the thing, you know, we got two great semi final games again. And the championship game was it is great?

[00:13:51] I don't know what's the best form of, will we ever get it to where both semi finals are great and the championship game is great. But we're gone, we're going past that now. We're on that.

[00:14:00] Well, I know, but if that cheeser gets to the final four still and then you could have those opportunity. I think we're has a lot of great games next year in the 12 team playoff, especially those that I just imagine like,

[00:14:10] their name Michigan, you know, Ohio State hosting home playoff games in the snow is what I imagine. That's what that's what's going to be the best. Yeah, so. Oh, how long has it? I hope it's snow that much there. Yeah, does it?

[00:14:25] But their name Michigan, we'll have some snow. Oh, another game gets a lot of snow. Yep, so we'll be hopefully beating up on some teams next year or so. All right, speak of the next year. What's dive into that a little bit?

[00:14:39] There's been a lot of top 25, you know, predictions for next year. We'll start with what does it go with fewer Mandels? You know, I'll feel like that. I think that's a good one to start. A lot of conversation on that to where today.

[00:14:52] Of course he has George number one. Nobody can go away from George to be number one, I guess. But I have a little, you know, concern. I mean, they did lose that with Bamm and they didn't really play anybody last year.

[00:15:02] They go with this next season playing a lot of teams. You know, a lot of good, good. They play Alabama in the regular season next year. So they, I don't think it's a, it's a guaranteed there. It'll be number one.

[00:15:12] I mean, they'll probably make the play off, but I don't think it's guaranteed there going to even be on scale. The new conference alignments. You play a lot, especially SEC, big tentacle play a lot of tough games now. So I'm interested in what that happens with those teams.

[00:15:26] He has Alabama number two. I don't agree with that at all. I just, I think they've had a lot of depth transfers. There are defense, you know, some of the young guys will get older. But they do lose some of the defense players like a Dallas Turner,

[00:15:42] you know, Chris Braswell and Kuley McHistory. They can't get better. I think they might say the same or they might, you know, get a little worse. But I don't think it'll be better. So you got to hope they have a quarterback where I just don't see how live,

[00:15:55] I mean, it could be number two. Or get number freezes and saying to me. I, they could have been Washington twice. Most talented people they played was Washington, lost them twice. Yeah, they'll get a lot of transfers. They're getting a lot of great recruits.

[00:16:08] But I don't think they showed me that they could be a great team met. So that's from my perspective. Then they wrap up the top five of Ohio State. I guess, we'll Howard and they push on junkins from Ole Miss.

[00:16:22] But they have a tough schedule like sure too. But I mean, then their defense probably take a little bit of a step back. You got to hope your offense will step up. Barbara Harris, the junior's leaving.

[00:16:31] I want I do wonder if, you know, if they lose their run-and-backs or not with them, Jack gets coming in. Then he wraps it up with the top ten with Texas Michigan, Washington Ole Miss and her name is Clemson. So just love your perspective on that.

[00:16:46] Any, you know, anything stands to you on his top ten here that, that you agree or disagree with kind of going into next season? So I actually like Oregon at three. They're having a, they had a very strong recruiting class number six in the country.

[00:17:03] I am expecting some good things out of Dylan Gabriel. I think Alabama should be a little lower. You know, losing Dallas-Turner, JC-Lathen, Koyd, McHinstree, Terran Arnold, Chris Brazwell, Germain Bird and even, you know, but I mean, Natala Bama.

[00:17:29] We talked a little bit earlier about, you know, our concerns with their quarterback, you know, but my name concern with Alabama is how are they going to fill out that coaching staff? Oh, Ohio State, I have some questions about,

[00:17:46] I mean, they have like two of the best wide receivers in the country coming in and then, you know, they just, this is all the question about who's wide receiver. You right now it looks like it might just be Ohio State.

[00:17:58] I think in fact, the yes, Jeremiah Smith, according to 247, the number one wide receiver in the country is going to Ohio State and he's also just the number one overall prospect this year. Prospect recruit, whatever. Texas, you know, I'm looking at some other kind of things.

[00:18:19] I'm looking at some other top 25s Texas, I see as high as two. They're going to be interesting another team with a strong recruiting class. You know, how much do you expect from, you know, just true freshman right after gate.

[00:18:34] But, you know, for a team like Texas, I think the big question is going to be, you know, who's declaring for the draft who's going to leave? Because their quarterback might be coming back, has he, he's coming back.

[00:18:49] I'm going to go, he's not here at T about thinking he kind of let it out there. He probably is coming back. But I did see that he Mitchell and his Averwerp for you are probably going to be there. They're gone. Yeah. So we're running back Jonathan Brooks.

[00:19:02] So was their tight end to Tavi on Sanders. And so were there two defensive tackles to fought a sweat and Murphy. I'm not mistaken. But then they're bringing in, you know, one of the top wide receivers. They're bringing in a top linebacker, a couple big offensive linemen.

[00:19:23] You know, for schools like this, you just expect them to kind of reload rather than rebuild. But I, yeah, of the controversial potential, I like Oregon being that high. But the rest of it Alabama or Ohio State, you know, again, like we said earlier,

[00:19:43] I don't think we're going to get many of these like super team, you know, generational kind of teams anymore. I think there's going to be a lot of transferring. There's going to be a lot of more spread out recruits.

[00:19:55] So, you know, everything we're saying here is kind of meaningless this early. What are you Jordan? What do you see in there? The biggest thing is Ohio State, man. I don't think going from California to Will Howard's going to change anything.

[00:20:14] I just don't, I don't know why everybody's so, you know, Will Howard is a great quarterback. But he also played events big 12 schools where we saw last year when a big 12 school does events in good school.

[00:20:29] And so I just don't know if that's a good replacement, a good, a lot of things, I guess. But we'll see, I definitely think right now, I mean Georgia, who else would be number one? That's the thing. Who are you going to put? Georgia's Georgia's.

[00:20:58] Yeah, I mean this tough. I guess you would, I would have failed at Alabama. Well, I mean, you could have failed at Alabama, really, they beat Georgia. Yeah, but Alabama also has Jellam and Relle. And just somebody knows and they're not looking at it.

[00:21:11] He, uh, Stewart Mendels did put star quarterback Jellam Relle. Um, just because they have to see on his jersey doesn't mean it's a star, right? But he could be a star running back. I really don't think he's, he should be a smaller.

[00:21:31] I mean, he may be he's like a Jellam hurts. It goes against some development in Oklahoma. And then you know, I'm not saying to go come say like like I'll take a rally and then he can maybe he can turn into something right now.

[00:21:42] He's not getting the right development. I don't think Tom Erees could provide that to him. So yeah, but um, I mean, two with Alabama confuses me. I like three Oregon. I think what they're doing there. I think Dylan Gabriel's going to be a more dynamic quarterback than Bones.

[00:22:02] And they'll have a better season offensively because they'll have a more dynamic quarterback. And Dan Lannings defenses are always pretty pretty elite. So I'm going with Oregon. I guess at four Ohio State kind of, I don't know.

[00:22:19] How I feel about the will Howard thing and their losing players are gaining. I'm surprised I was transfer portal raking like in two four seven he's right 27. Like he's above like a rally winner for example, he's above their names transfer.

[00:22:38] It's interesting because he was pushed out of Kansas State because he was losing the starting job to the freshman. And there was other teams that looked at him and passed on him. So I really don't understand like how one how they get the rankings and how they.

[00:22:53] I think he's a little elevated comical. I think it's like just about calm McCorza, but he's a little more mobile call. We'll call that. Yeah. It is more experience. Yeah, more spirits. He's more mobile. But I you need a dynamic player back here.

[00:23:09] I just don't think he's him. So I don't think it's going to help you be Michigan next year or so. Let's miss cause it's ball as a part because all while leaves. So, but Texas at five. I'm all that's fine with me.

[00:23:21] I've been I think they kept it good close and they're playoff game. I think I don't know if I I'm really sold on Quinn you quit new or is anymore. In the sense I thought coming back this year he's going to be elite.

[00:23:39] I just I don't know how about that he's going to get hurt. He's gotten hurt two season of the row. Did you get mad and you I don't know how I feel about arch. Um, we we barely saw. I think the rest are pretty good.

[00:23:57] I think where Michigan S6 I think there's so much like uncertainty on that uncertainty. A lot uncertainty quarterback running backs. Online head coach. Yeah, and we're all we're all here right now knowing that Jim Harwell is not going back to Michigan.

[00:24:16] One thing I will give Michigan a lot of credit for is there's a lot of their star players were three star type players and they developed them really well. And so, you know, they'll continue to do that.

[00:24:29] I think they'll have some good depth players that can come in play. I think the losing is changing the quality of the head coach and I think they're going to take a step back obviously but.

[00:24:38] You know, having a lot of good pieces there so it's the right like I think Jay Jay we cover will come back if he does come back then. It'd be smart. Yeah, I don't think well this draft class he's actually dropped it. Yes, that's draft classes too.

[00:24:48] Why don't go back to Michigan get some money and then play every year. Yeah, no, but yeah, like you said, there's too much uncertainty around Michigan right now.

[00:24:59] But the good thing for Michigan is I don't know scholarship athlete player on their team transferred and to the transfer portal. So. Well, he five more days. There are five more days to do it. So. I expected expected key losses for Michigan. Watch Jim Harwell.

[00:25:18] Wait five days tell his players he's staying and then leave. Well, the transfer portal does open up if if a coach leaves two. There's a certain word for a move like that. A certain Brian Kelly. Yep. That's exactly what I was going to say.

[00:25:35] So Michigan is expected to lose J.J. McCarthy Blake, Corrum Donovan Edwards, Lidarius Henderson, Trevor Cagan, Zach's in through Drake and you get Roman Wilson, Michael Barrett and Mike sing sing trissel. Those are their expected key losses according to ESPN.

[00:25:52] So that's like I don't think Jay is a crack where offense. I really don't think Jay would hurt go. But I think doubt of it in words may come back, but I don't know.

[00:26:00] I would if I was him because then you're going to be the first string quarterback or running back and get more reps. There's not a little more to NFL. I get hired. I definitely forgot Washington got Will Rogers. What do you guys think about that?

[00:26:15] I think Will Rogers is going to put a 4,000 he reminds me a lot of Michael Panics, whatever. I think he's going to put a lot of offense to an average college and we'll see if they can bring him up.

[00:26:24] No, I think Will Rogers puts up numbers on the offense that he can put up numbers with. He had a really bad season this year because the new head coach changed the whole offensive in the last game. Do you think he's like a Sam Hartman then?

[00:26:41] Because I kind of thought of him as a Sam Hartman where he was in a unique offense, put up a lot of numbers. They put him in an actual offense and he really struggled. So I did want to like, because Mike Leach had that weird offense.

[00:26:56] Not weird, but like, you know, he had that different offense and it switched. They switched up gears when the new head coach came and Will Rogers could not adjust. So I think Washington kind of runs a similar offense to what he would be used to.

[00:27:13] So maybe that might help him, but the top 1000 in the Clemson. I don't know why they're there. I don't know. I don't know why Kate is even. Hey, I like to have an in a bowl game. We just play pretty well. I know.

[00:27:29] They won five games in our road and win the season two. Yeah, but I don't know. I still have a question marks. But other than that, it's too early. So, I feel almost might be pretty good next year.

[00:27:43] They got a lot coming back and they have a lot in the transfer for a letter coming. So if they weren't losing their running back, I'd feel a bit better.

[00:27:51] I actually feel like that was a mutual thing because from what I've read is he was a very bad locker room person. And he calls a lot of issues with the offense. Well, yeah, I mean, I so apparently when he listed the,

[00:28:05] the teams he was willing to play for, it was just like the top six who have the most money to spend. Like he doesn't care really about, you know, scheme fit or anything like that, you know, about not like, oh, where some of my friends going on,

[00:28:23] and none like that. Just who wants to pay me the most? I just really think he's a bad locker room guy. I wonder how that's going to be. I mean, I know Ohio State's got a pretty good better in teams. Maybe they just kind of ran that in.

[00:28:36] But I do wonder if Ohio State's trying to swing for defenses here to be Michigan. If it's going to bite them in the butt and put them back a little bit. I see if he's lead a clear team is going to know how to stay there.

[00:28:46] Yeah, he can be the last night there in the championship. But I get that. I mean, you know, you're going three years in a row. For losing your, you're super bowl. And your locker room is going to bring a guy in that's not great.

[00:29:04] And you have a better in guys, but you also have a team that's on the verge of head coach that's on the verge of getting fired. Yeah, I just, I mean, I know they're swinging for defenses and they're firing coaches right now.

[00:29:20] I think they fired or safety coach. I think there's rumors going to fire or running back coach. And they're going to hire a new offensive coordinator that will actually call plays. Now, if he's doing all that, he's really trying to change.

[00:29:30] Because I don't think he can run. He can't call the plays anymore. Ryan Dick can't do it. Even though he was the offensive coordinator, he was called all the plays. He just is not working. So, somebody come in and it's take the train reigns over.

[00:29:41] And it can't be like a clips of situation where you spend like all this time bringing this person over and then stay at the call your plays. No, you need to call their own plays, you know?

[00:29:51] Or Texas A&M situation where you didn't want to give out the plays and then you give out the plays and you still suck. Yeah, just too late. All right. Question for you guys. Looking at this list, we'll pick it about next year,

[00:30:06] who are you two or your top two teams that you see? Doesn't need to be playing together in the championship game, but like who are who has two best teams who have the best shot at the win in the title next year.

[00:30:16] So while you guys are thinking about that, I'll go first. I don't trust Alabama. I don't trust Oregon. I'm not sure how high a state's going to be. I don't think Texas is going to take a step back. We don't know about Michigan.

[00:30:35] I think Washington is taking a step back. Even though Ole Miss will be approved, I don't think they're going to do it. I'm going to say that I got a mention in our name because my bias will come out. So, I'll set it.

[00:30:47] I don't like a team is not jumping out of me. That could be an ever team that could win. I guess if I had to say it would probably be Alabama or Ohio stage because eventually, Ohio State's everything went really good next year. It was really bad.

[00:31:07] So, if they're really good, they have a chance to win in the title. They play a couple of home games in the cold. They might sway things or favors. What do you think, Jordan? Oh, man. So, I'm thinking Georgia as well.

[00:31:21] I just think like, yeah, they lost and they had a really down that weird season. But we're going to have another season with K and Carson Beck. K, Chatsman, yes. Carson Beck, on your center. It's Georgia. They're just going to reload anything that they lose.

[00:31:42] And I just think Georgia is still that top team. And I think they're going to want to prove it more this year because everybody was so down on them with a lot of stuff last year. Yeah. But other team, I definitely Oregon.

[00:31:59] You guys can't hear some of it again. I like Oregon. I'm going to work this down for next year because this is that. It's so see it happening. I like Oregon. I like what they're bringing in. I think like I said better quarterback than Bonix this year.

[00:32:12] Oh, no. Yeah. I'm feeling, he'll be hard at least for games like sure. That was fine. But give me Oregon. We know Jessica is going to say USC but they're not that top 25, Jess. Are they not going to say USC? Oh, because Catabolio's not there. I'm sorry.

[00:32:30] Hey, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, Rutgers are the last team or so. No, I'm not picking records. I'm not picking easy. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Like you guys, I'm going to have to go Georgia.

[00:32:49] I feel like they're going to just, I mean, it's so hard to say because like as Tony said earlier, like if if Ohio State gets their quarterback situation for good out, I have enough faith in their wide receiving depth to just,

[00:33:03] you know, obviously it's going to be hard to replace a guy like Marvin Harrison Jr. But if there's anybody that can do it, it's Ohio State. That being said, I think I'm going to go Georgia and I think I'm going to go,

[00:33:22] I'm picking between Ohio State and Oregon. You can't do so, Ohio State. You can't wait, wait, you gotta pick someone else. The issue is like I'm trying to find what is Oregon's big ten schedule. They play Michigan at Michigan. That's lost. Is it?

[00:33:46] When they play a Michigan at Michigan? Why is it a loss? When did I play in there? Michigan's a lot of like gets enough of their pieces back, you know? Tomorrow. They're playing Michigan on November all their dead losing that game.

[00:34:03] This could be cold, there's no it's not cold here. They're playing at UCLA home versus Michigan State, Home for Ohio State at Purdue home for Illinois at Michigan, who kept Randall in November 16th home, home against Maryland at Wisconsin home versus Washington.

[00:34:27] Like their schedule is going to be brutal. Like the big ten next year for all of the top teams, I feel like is going to be just so much harder than it's ever been. They got Boise State. I don't know if you guys saw that Malachi Nelson,

[00:34:42] the former number one player, I think it was 2021 class who is a backup at USC quarterback. He transferred to Boise State and so that might be a little tricky contest. Even though it's at Oregon, the second game when it sees it.

[00:34:58] Then they go right after that to Corvalle is the play Oregon State early. So even at early save, those would be kind of down programs and I might give a little bit of a tricky contest. So honestly in my head,

[00:35:10] it's between Oregon or Ohio State or Ohio State, out of Michigan or again Washington, they have the easiest schedule. They can have easy schedule like that. Like their big ten 10 is Michigan State, Iowa or again Nebraska Penn State Purdue, Northwestern Indiana and Michigan.

[00:35:30] How do you get that schedule when you have four powers? You only had to play Oregon. If Michigan somehow gets through their schedule unscathed, they're going to win the national championship. They do play Penn State at Penn State though. I mean, who's their quarterback at Penn State?

[00:35:50] I probably have 10, or 10, about 10 or 10 or 10. But they play Oregon and Washington. Oh yeah. Or USC and just don't know. Let's just draw out a random name Purdue. They're getting in that bad boy. No, no, no, no. I think you're not doing it.

[00:36:08] So I think I'm going to go how state just because seems like they might have a bit of an easier schedule than Oregon because that doesn't say what Oregon is going to be going through. And I just, yeah. I can't ever predict truly undefeated

[00:36:26] when you're going through a gauntlet like that. Like I tried with USC because I thought they would have a generational quarterback. But I mean even with the better team, you know, it's just, I mean Michigan, Michigan schedule's tough too. They got USC, they got Washington,

[00:36:44] Oregon, Ohio State, you know, four teams that are in the top 25 and even the season this year. So now, just have about them, Rutgers, you think they got a chance? Sadly no. They don't play, they don't play Ohio State or Michigan this year. Yes.

[00:37:04] But they do play Oregon, I believe. No, they play Washington and US Washington, Washington, and so, yeah, I'm pretty sure that's two losses right there. So, oh, and UCLA, they play UCLA. Mmm, we did hang with UCLA but I doubt it. They play a way for USC.

[00:37:30] Uh-huh, uh, across the whole country. It's going to be something. On a bus. Rockers, on a bus. Rockers, on a bus. Oh, okay, yeah. Now you know, you know, you know, actually, maybe we start to go fun, but for Rutgers. Actually, they're going to do my train.

[00:37:53] They're going to take the train. Take about five days. We'll get there. Y'all are, y'all are clowns today, huh? Actually, just they're not the bar of your car. They're going to take two four players there first and then they're going to drive back at the other four

[00:38:09] and just go back. They're going to pay me. Nope. I could use the money. They could have said, well, they've been able to do that. Maybe I'll be able to get some of them on the bus. Well, you know, $5.

[00:38:23] You know, you want to hop on the podcast real quick? They'll pay you $5. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, that's a good, that's a good podcast series. We're going to need to talk to the guys as you guys are traveling across the country. Because they don't make it the same.

[00:38:37] Awesome YouTube series. I'm just like a popterrated. Just they'll give you the backup kicker because they don't want to talk to you. For the record, I am worth at least the starting punter. The backup, the long stepper. Damn, okay, Alabama could be easy. Yeah. All right.

[00:38:58] Well, I think that's it for this week guys. We've heard a lot of playoff. There will be no college football games for a while until the spring game come out in April. Maybe we'll try to make another name spring game.

[00:39:10] If it does it down poor and snow ice on us, the whole time. But this will be our season finale of the podcast. We'll take a little bit of time off. We're going to try to, you know, come back with a little different format of this podcast.
